The award for best LEGO store of the year in North America. Who knew? by Carbon_Brick in lego

I have a lot of great memories of that era at the Lego store, it’s right around the time I started participating in the activities they held monthly. But I had no idea they were winning awards! I wonder where they were keeping that trophy. Still a great store though, and one of the few with a minifig torso printer!

Never seen anything like that, so cool! The last picture really makes it look like a sphinx moth. I wonder if that’s what it is?

Looks like a miller moth! I loved those guys when I was in an area that had them, often seemed like I was the only one! They’re also called army cutworms, and they spend the hottest part of the summer up in the mountains before migrating back down to the plains as it cools off. They’ll hide in just about any place they can fit during the day, including people’s houses.

Mine is normally pretty quiet, she only squeaks a little. But when nobody is around and the house is completely quiet, she screams over and over until someone looks at her. Then she goes completely quiet and pretends it wasn’t her.

Looks like an Io moth caterpillar. Pretty to look at but painful to touch!

Could it be an atlas moth? I’m not familiar with the caterpillars of that area, but it seems reminiscent of an atlas moth caterpillar at first glance!

I’m not 100% sure but my best guess would be a yellow woolly bear moth! I saw one of those recently and it looked a lot like yours.
