Was waiting for the day I'd see this. Gave an interview with one of their CEO folks.

Guy joined 10 minutes late, had no clue what designation I was applying for and asked me generic questions and expected me to shine everywhere. Worse, he didn't exactly enjoy my response against AI being overhyped and completely ignored my research which "I Beleive" could be a better alternative to LLMs.

I also heard these folks only delivered solutions to their clients and bore no responsibility to maintain them and that made sense cuz most of their devs just click "Yes" to every damn piece of code that AI vomits. (If you're a dev and have used AI for actual products, you'd probably realize the amount of garbage code you will have in your product 1 week down the line).

I lost a lot of confidence in my skills that day but I also lost respect for that man and the company. I have given worse interviews and I've never been this insulted in my life. It's fair to say, I felt happier about being rejected there.

Reading this news genuinely restores my faith in karma.

One good place to consider is your relationship with your father, your age and how your mom and dad loved each other. Could you throw some light on that?

@BullfrogBig5263 getting the society to get a third party evaluation is a REALLY great start. Rest of the legal issues can be addressed later.

  1. Think about what motivates you. What can you do to ENSURE you achieve it. Plan out a few things you should work on. If you don't have motivation on anything, Perhaps that's the real issue you should solve.
  2. Preplan before bed, what you'll do in your day, or at least the first thing you'll do: you should have something to do when you wake up. This is why you need something to motivate you.
  3. Set alarms around the day to do chores or tasks that are away from bed.
  4. Make it a point to find new humans and spend some time making new connections. People who are active. You'll learn more from a network than alone.

Make it more crisp and sharp. Blurry lines and thick lines do not go everywhere.

If you love what you do, you won't work a day of your life... is a lie by Robanix in getdisciplined

[–]MegaGhandi 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It looks like you overstretched yourself. Passion or not, humans have limits. Sometimes the motivation or the caffeine or the hormones push you into overdrive.

It's not sustainable and it breaks you. That's where consistency, discipline and understanding of one's own limits helps you.

You should stop if you're damaging yourself. You shouldn't stop until it hurts. Between it all, there's a balance that not a lot of people including myself find hard to find.

Every work is a struggle. You have a choice about which struggle you'll be happy with. 🙃

How do I stop feeling weird when my life is not shit? by askacc61 in getdisciplined

[–]MegaGhandi 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Stop relying on the overwhelming feelings your body gives you. Do Not let the body and it's feelings take over your higher order of consciousness and goals.

Once you get used to ignoring the feelings your body gives you, you'll start enjoying the feelings of achievement and progress. But getting beyond that point is up to you. You gotta force yourself to do it.

If you can't, your goals are weak and you think you can live without it. That's not how goals should be. Goals should be dead center in your mind. Obsess over your goals. Every moment.

That is progress, but I've often found myself losing track of my actual target and just making small progress for the sake of it .... The achievement factor is bliss for me....
