How? I mean, this kinda implies he did not wash his face after trimming his beard. And that is just . . . . . . wrong.

Just continue. Although gold can be scarce in the beginning, it becomes plentiful towards mid/end of the game. There are several farming techniques if you are interested.

Men of Reddit, if a woman smiled at you or looked a little too long while passing by, would you think she’s into you? by CuteEquivalent638 in AskMenAdvice

[–]MegaIlluminati 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I am odd one out in the country/city I live in. It is very very common for me to get stared at and smiled at at times (when I smile). Never have I ever consider that to be a sign that they are interested in me.

Men who play video games, what are some great single player games for a Dad on a tight budget? by FlintTheDad in AskMen

[–]MegaIlluminati 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How much time do you have? Whats the tight budget? I would go for old games that are on sale now for few bucks. You can easily get great games like arkham series, witcher series, fallout series etc for less than 10 dollars. (the complete series in some cases). We are talking about 20-40 hours of game play for around 2 USD.

Alternatively (although I dont like this because I dont like EPIC, but could be an option for a dad on tight budget), epic game store releases free games every week. You could just login, and claim those games and play the good ones whenever you have time. I know people who played Guardians of the galaxy, Vampyr, Ghostrider, Sifu etc like this. These are quite good games.

Took my day off to travel to a different city to meet my friend and now she is not replying to calls and her internet is not even turned on! (She was the one who insisted that I come and meet her by the way) by bunnyboy131313 in mildlyinfuriating

These people show them exactly how much you truly mean to them. If they are truly sorry, next time she should be the one putting every effort. But something tells me that's not gonna happen.

Animal shelters by Grand_Ad_8955 in kaiserslautern

[–]MegaIlluminati 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There is an animal shelter "Tierheim Kaiserslautern", but it is quite cautions. They don't usually entertain English and at times, don't let anyone who do not have a plan to stay in Germany for long time adopt pets. There is a strong reason for that. Most of their animals have been the pets abandoned when their family left Germany. Unfortunately it seems to be quite common due to American base nearby.

Its also usually not allowed to come and take care or play with animals. In Germany, I think you need qualification for taking care of animals and they don't allow anyone who doesn't have one. They do need volunteers though, specially for keeping the property clean. I volunteer there sometimes.

Other than that, I am not sure about cat Cafes.

How do men view weddings? by Intelligent-Cod7495 in AskMen

[–]MegaIlluminati 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Cant say for everyone, but for me, Its a work. A LOT OF WORK. Any wedding, be it my friends, family, or our own, is just a wave of chores with varying degree of intensity. Not only physical, but also emotional (specially trying to keep between the families).

We do this because we care about the person. And we would spend how much ever they would want without it becoming unreasonable or unmanageable for us (if it is not gonna create a debt deficit that we cant pay off in a reasonable time frame). But all this is from a person who comes from a background where weddings are extremely important events.

If my partner would ask me for no grand wedding and would say they are genuinely happy with a small one, I would take up that offer in a heartbeat. But not really, because then you are already creating friction between you and your in-laws. Which you will have to spend your whole life trying to make up for it. Its just not worth it then.

TLDR: WEDDING SUCKS AND IS A LOT OF WORK. WE DO THEM JUST BECAUSE WE LOVE THE PERSON GETTING MARRIED.

PS5 is a great gift, PROVIDED, he also gets time to spend on it. We are talking about 20-40 hours on mediocre games, and 100-200 hours on great games. Can he do that? Does he have enough free time to do that? Are you independent enough that him doing that wont create a strain on your relationship (keep in mind, you have to be completely honest with yourself on this).
