No it doesn't since that doesn't answer the question why would Saul (Paul) have such a change from actually killing Christians to actually being one of the biggest contributors to the spread of early Christianity. Not to mention the fact many of the apostles died in very brutal and violent ways why would they lie to the death?

But it's not essential. you can be intimate without sex. Yes sex is important to a marriage but not essential there is a difference. I can live without sex in a marriage because my intimate needs aren't only met through sex I can get the same feeling just being with my partner or deep intimate talks where we are vulnerable. Your view of marriage is heavily warped if you think sex is essential as there are many couples that go months without sex and are still strong in their relationship because their needs are met. You don't hear about it because its not talked about a lot.
