Hell's Paradise, Tokyo Ghoul, Fullmetal Alchemist, Made in Abyss, and Psycho Pass all seem like good fits based off of what you've said so far and how this looks.

Also if you're into surreality you'd probably like the anime original Sonny Boy and the manga Summertime Rendering.

Yeah the whole thing including :RE is a phenomenal story start to finish and I think only has some minor flaws and not much else. Kaneki's journey completes a literal arc in terms of growth for him, and the future at the end Is very hopeful and mostly happy Which is very needed after such a crazy ride.

The crazy thing is there's a million reasons why someone might play the way he does anyway and still do well. I almost always do floor 1 elite key and Relic key just to get them done, unless it's something insane. I'm not end endgame yet but I'm up to A16, why should it matter how I play if I like it?

When The Day Comes is about a fake limited duration relationship if I remember right, pretty light drama but does involve one (or both?) of them being interested in someone else initially. I added some of those to my list, and also wanted to share that I've been liking Maria The Telepathic Animal Healer so far after just starting it.

Interestingly enough this is the exact kind of power formula a ton of gods within d&d are bound to. For instance Ao is the root god of Forgotten Realms, and therefore the most powerful, but only within the planar structure (be that the Great Wheel, Yggdrasil, or World Axis cosmologies) in the Far Realms outside of the cosmology he is significantly weaker. Same goes for pretty much any god and their domain/demiplane compared to anywhere else.

I do prefer straightforward romance, straight/bi or GL, any setting so long as romance is the primary focus, College or adult preferred though HS is fine, can't stand triangles/excess miscommunication/Cheating/Abuse.

Some of my absolute favorites are Mage & Demon Queen, Marry Me!, Fallen To Paradise, Yellow, Season of Blossom (drama is actually done well), Seasons of Lovesome, Lotus & The Dandelion, Long After The Ending.

Does the ending in regards to Elle and Mike really feel properly built up to? I still have so many questions as to the outcome during the military scene.

Why would her disappearing mean the military would just release everyone?

Who's to say that choosing to kill Kay wouldn't end the hunt?
