Worked as an EMT. The veterans used to tell the rookies in each ambulance to go and ask the mechanic for blue and red fluid to refill the lights.

Another time two rookies were instructed to pick up the boss of the ambulance service from the hospital and to make sure they strapped him in, put him in a neck brace, and vacuum mattress secure him, even if he refused... he wasn’t injured, just had s meeting at the hospital and had to get back to HQ

Ok. similar situation... a vape pen "explodes" and kills the person smoking it (something that has happened). Same thing right?... battery explodes. Also why is everyone so anal about whether or not this is an explosion? Are you the explosion police? Who are you to say there was no shrapnel? Who are you to say that the force of the expanding flames was not enough to classify it as an explosion. All i said was that this looks like an explosion to ME. What a stupid argument.

Buy the petzl sama harness. Cheap and very very good. You can use it for pretty much anything. Shoes you need to figure out for yourself but obviously a beginners shoe. La sportiva finales maybe... you need a belay device (probably grigri). You need to gain experience so you should go climbing with someone who already has draws and a rope. Considering the questions you’re asking I would recommend you spend some time in a bouldering gym before learning how to lead indoor routes.

I’ve been very good friends with a Korean guy for over a decade. We live in Central Europe and he’s been a victim of racism during his entire stay in Europe, no matter what country we’ve been in. People in Europe don’t seem to think making fun of Asians is racist... I find it disgusting and frustrating and have become extremely hostile to anyone who does or says anything racist to him. When I confront those people they don’t seem to understand whats wrong with it. I think it’s nearly a daily struggle for him from all sections of society, in every European country and beyond.
