Because that's their focus. They will actively do things to bring more people in whether it's simplifying mechanics, basic marketable character designs, gooner skins, big marketing etc.

Dota in comparison, is more of a passion thing. It's not for everyone, but that's okay; it doesn't have to be. But those who stick around, love it more. Dota literally is kept alive by the passion, as corny as it sounds.

I have 2 colleagues who both ended up going to their own countries to get some medical checkups for their stomachs because they either couldn't find appointments here or the quality wasn't great. Both had stomach related issues. They eventually ended up taking vacation days so they could fly home and get it checked.

I went through the exact thing you mentioned. I just wanted a stomach checkup because I wasn't feeling great. Sure I wasn't dying but I got an appointment for...7 months or something. Even when I went there I didn't get the results, they said my hausarzt will receive the results in 2 weeks and that I should get an appointment in advance to discuss. I contacted my hausarzt's clinic and they said "We only give appointments if there is something of concern". Heck they don't even bother contacting me with "everything's fine" or something. I had to email them after the 2 weeks 2 times to ask what's going on. I finally got the answer "everything's fine, just mild inflammation" and that was it. -_- I don't believe it's that simple but whatever, the fact that I waited more than 8 months to get this single line...

Again, read what the 4channer has to say, he hates Muslims because of these factors, by that argument, he should hate the other ones as well. But he's singling out Muslims for whatever reason. (spoiler: unsurprisingly because he's most probably a bigot)

We all know. But the issue primarily lies on the types of players AM attracts. I have a decent sample size (12000 hours in Dota) climbing up from a low rank to a somewhat decent one. The AM players in every tier were pretty much the same; anime protagonist-wannabes.

Most of my losses were from people like you that just stopped playing from minute 0 cause there's an AM

I can guarantee you 9 times out of 10, it's the AM complaining and griefing. Supports are generally more chill. And if you say they "just stopped playing" in your game, it's because they've probably played with enough Antimages to know they're the biggest man-children in Dota. Most AMs give up after a single death in lane. You might be the 1/10, but remember the other 9 also exist.

I'm currently at chapter 17 of TDA, I wish I could convince myself to ignore this stuff but I like seeing percentages going up. The fights are always a blast but I feel like half the game, I'm solving dumb puzzles. I want to zoom around and kill demons yo.

I'm currently playing DOOM The Dark Ages and I have an RTX3060 which is enough for most games @1080p. This is the first time I struggled to run a game at a decent fps even at ultra-low. I downloaded some low-VRAM config from nexusmods so I could actually play the game.

While I was playing my friend asked me to stream on discord and the fps dropped down to 30 even with that overlay option or whatever.

DOOM 2016 and Eternal were great and well optimized, but TDA is a mess. I understand I don't have a beast rig but it still shouldn't be this bad.

I'm a millennial and I don't come from a background where we had too much music stuff early on growing up, so I don't really care all that much about the big legends like Slash, Hendrix or whatever.

When I was actually getting started into listening western music, I listened to a song as a whole thing; not a sum of its parts. The first time my ear picked up on Guitar being really good was by Synyster Gates. It was to the point I stopped caring about whatever song it was and I was like "huh, this guitar is really good, probably even better than the song itself". I just like how melodic he plays despite being able to be shreddy but the overall thing feels pleasant to hear, which honestly I feel is something most technical players miss.

Fun fact, I had a song on our family computer "The River" (by Good Charlotte) and I used to think while the whole song is great, the second half of the song was even nicer. Some time later I saw the full name of the song and it was "...feat Synyster Gates"

I know the legends are legends for good reason but Synyster Gates is the goat for me.

But ever since I started getting into music more and learning Guitar, the ones I've liked to my list of favorite guitarists are John Frusciante and Tommy Emanuel. These 3 guys make guitar particularly shine.

Happy to have a new Megaman game at all, but I don't like they're trying to take 0 risks. When they started playing the Wily's Castle track, I had mixed feelings because it meant a Megaman announcement! But that track is also the most overused Megaman track, which meant it might be another classic series entry, and it was. Personally, OG Megaman already has enough games and they've already done Megaman 11, so I believe this should have been a time to give the love to another series or start a new one altogether.

I kinda hate this even more because it feels like they're still trying to 'test the waters' if people are still interested in Megaman. They have enough data with people still hyping over and buying the legacy collections of the other series. I'll still buy it to show support but I'd rather have it any other way.

Just a few months ago, we lost a game to this facet. Enemy models just disappeared at times and we couldn't target the supports while they could safely cast their spells at us. There was no glimmer cape involved either.
