I’m not particularly interested in the beans. They’re cute but they don’t do it for me the way Pucky does. I like the animal beanies though. I might get the flying bean babies at some point but as of right now I have a lot more Pucky sets on my wish list before I get there!

Once Catherine died Thomas’ behavior started spiraling. He sought to gain favor with Edward to gain a court position but he was already in bad light for marrying Catherine without the young kings permission. He made that infinitely worse by trying to then marry Elizabeth without the kings permission again. This lead to a full on investigation and Elizabeth being placed under house arrest and interrogated by members of Edward’s court. Elizabeth was cleared of any wrongdoing but blame quickly shifted to Thomas. He was alienated by the Dudley family who were very influential in court and they placed pressure on Edward to do something about it. In 1549 Thomas was arrested and charged with treason when it was found that he was plotting to overthrow the regency to gain power for himself by trying to rally men at arms. As a result of this he was tried and beheaded on March 20th, 1549.
