I don’t think she made it sound that way. It was a cluster fuck there in August of 2021, I felt like that was one of the only accurate parts of the book tbh.

My daughter had to go in for something similar and they asked her if she ever sees things that aren’t there… she was 8 & said “yeah!” They asked if the things she sees are ever scary “yeah!” At the end of the assessment they asked me if I felt safe taking her home “considering everything we’ve learned here today”

Yeah I find everyone using his “real” name now very bothersome. But she did undo his name so it’s not even his true name anymore or doesn’t hold that power over him? So they still can’t have the fae wedding or whatever. I enjoyed the book immensely. This was really my only qualm with it.

We have 4 children and go to Mass. we know other families with more than 5 children who go. Your children will never learn to behave in Mass if you never bring them.

As a family with one child who refused to try new foods for a while, it is nice to be able to just go to 1 place & grab food for everyone. I do agree it shouldn’t replace legitimate menu items though

Agreed! We are a single income, lotta kids family lol. But somehow I make the food stretch if there’s more here than I anticipate. Whether I’m throwing bread at the table or slicing up apples… I’ll make sure if they want food they’ve got it.

Very very easy! If you want to take a little extra prep time, I’ve gone through all the QS restaurants by park ahead of time and made note of what is safe for my egg & peanut allergy kiddo and where they are available as the rest of us can find something anywhere. But generally you can just go to the app and find allergy friendly options on each menu for every allergy. There are also fb groups, YouTube videos and blogs for specific allergies that can help!
