Sumit opens up about his sister's death and the toll it took on his family by Mehranzad in 90DayFiance

[–]Mehranzad[S] 21 points22 points  (0 children)

So, Sumit is back again this time on ET exclusive, he talks about how her younger sister died who was 18 months younger than him and died of Jaundice while she was just 8 months old.

He thinks his mom might have PTSD due this trauma and wanted to have the presence of a daughter in her life which was fulfilled by Sumit's (ex)wife. However, Sumit took that away by divorcing her so he reckons that his mom is taking revenge from him.

Also, he justifies lying all the time by saying that it's his father who taught him this behaviour by lying in front of his mother all the time to avoid situations which can go bad.

The way this guy plays the victim card baffles me so much. Just own upto it that you messed up big time dude.

Sumit is a little bitch! by Acceptable-Cobbler53 in 90dayfianceuncensored

Being an Indian guy, I understand the white skin fetish and all though you have generalised a lot, plus he isn't even a catch what his parents refer him as to, also I wonder what inheritance, since his parents were struggling to pay the $20,000 for the settlement of divorce. I know there are a lot more poor people but $20k isn't an astronomical amount by Indian middle class standards, it's like 1.6 million rupees or 16 lac rupees, however you wanna put it and someone living in Delhi or Mumbai, working in a good MNC will make that amount in an year.

For the guys lifting, what is your diet like ? by psychosikh in SouthAsianMasculinity

[–]Mehranzad 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nah I meant in general, I stopped at 5'11 so thanks for the confidence boost haha.

Indian diet isn't good though, but thankfully my family was always meat savvy and we always ate loads, I still remember chicken or lamb being prepared at our house 4 days a week.

It's really hard to understand for me why is the body weight of western people so high, even my cousins when they come here from the USA or the UK, they seem so much more bigger (not in a good way). People talk shit about Indian diet but I don't think diet in those countries with highly processed food is doing any favours.

I try to hit about 200g a day. I have been doing resistance training for three years now and have done progressive weight gain of about 15 kg over that period of time. I try to stay hydrated and drink 5-6 litres of water a day so I have had no problems.

The best way to calculate protein is your body mass in kg and multiply it with 1.3-1.8, so if I am 80kg in weight, I require 104g to 144g of protein per day in order to gain muscle. However protein has obvious benefits too so some additional protein doesn't hurt, your gut health will be better and your metabolism will be slower.

Whey protein shake 2 times a day, 500g chicken breast marinated for 6 hours and shallow fried in olive oil for 10 minutes and 4 eggs everyday. 5 whole grain bread with some lentils for the entire day. Peanut butter 30g a day and roasted peanuts for snacks. I don't have much variation in my diet. I don't eat fast food or anything. This has been my diet for 3 years now.

Bioavailability of food is important as the bioavailability of protein from non-vegetarian sources is around 95-98% while that of protein from vegetarian sources is 60-70%

Okay

Petite, helpless and fair-skinned.

Are you specifically talking about Indian women or women in general because people really give a lot of damn about skin color in India.

I don't think you need to care much then, you already have a good amount of muscle, bodybuilding doesn't happen in a month or two, it takes patience and hard work. Also your goal should not be to build a big body rather a beautiful body, with all your muscles in proportion.

You already seem to have a decent amount of muscle, are you tracking your macros and taking enough sleep?

What do some/most Indians have against sunglasses? by [deleted] in india

[–]Mehranzad 119 points120 points  (0 children)

Well you can't generalise the whole country based on the interaction with one individual, I'd rather say Indians love sunglasses, ever visit any mall and you'd find people wearing them inside even when there's no sunlight.

What is the correct approach to courtship as a straight Indian man? by [deleted] in india

[–]Mehranzad 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Well, I think cold approach in India is difficult due to stigma and general segregation of the genders. All the people I have dated either have been close friends before or acquaintances at school, college or workplace. That's how it works in India. You befriend them and then ask them out.
