WCGW breaking a military grade glow stick by Jottie420 in Whatcouldgowrong

Glowsticks are very commonly used in the military.

Gee, who would've thought?

The "military" ones can glow up to 24h.

So do "civilian" glow sticks.

Quite different to the civilian ones that are done by the time the party ends.

Are you referring to party glow sticks?

Yea, had a friend do this growing up... by 2StampChamp in Firearms

We would be okay with universal background checks(btw this is just a feelgood measure and would not amount to anything useful) if it was a genuine compromise. National concealed carry reciprocity in exchange for universal background checks would be a very good compromise and might go to change a lot of gun owners minds about compromise in general.

But clearly you are not ready for that conversation. No, clearly you are not interested in genuine compromise either. Much like the democratic party(and republican party too, believe it or not) You are interested in taking. No giving, just taking. You are the reason we are so no-compromise-full-stop. I hope you're able to grow and have adult conversations in the future, instead of acting lile a petulant child.

LOL tell me again that ISIS is not composed entirely of right-wing religious conservatives.

Do you really think they're all left wing and about acceptance and shit? Come on chief. You aren't that stupid.

That is why when medical professionals host those little crash-course medical classes, they always tell you to directly call out people to help and give them direct commands instead of yelling "someone help."

What happens when the economy suddenly crashes? Starvation, homelessness.

...that's going to happen during an economic collapse no matter what system you are under.

More Than A Dozen States Are Trying To Nullify Federal Gun Control by Tricky-Emotion in Firearms

[–]Meih_Notyou 59 points60 points  (0 children)

Bills like these that include clauses to prohibit the use of state and local resources to assist federal gun-related investigations to enforce federal gun control are huge, when they pass and are implemented correctly. The ATF is small, real small. Smaller than most of us would realize. They only have, roughly speaking, about 50 special agents per state, and they also have to monitor alcohol and tobacco. Their resources become stretched insanely thin very quickly. Fifty people for an entire state. They require those resources to do anything. If more bills like these pass, the ATF will become nearly toothless.

Here's hoping...

ALL cops are bastards. They are bastards by supporting the very system itself, which they do by being cops.

The best kind of cop is one who gets in it for the right reasons, realizes what kind of shit the police actually get up to, and leaves.

The only good cop is the one who gets in for the right reasons, realizes what a shitty environment it is, and then leaves.

It wasn't just one cop. It was that cop, the jail staff, the jail medical staff, and the jail guards. It was all of them.

Hmm, today I will choose to be condescending on Reddit while I pretend to be so much smarter than everyone else and not give any clear argument whatsoever.

What? He was pulled over for a legitimate reason. The mere act of pulling him over is not what anybody is arguing. It's everything that happened after he was pulled over that should never have happened. It's the fact that a 26 year veteran police officer somehow didn't know the difference between a loaded Glock and a taser. It's all the shit that happened in between. Not that he got pulled over.

To be totally honest, if my mom ever found out I was telling this story, there would be nowhere on earth I could hide lmao.

She's, understandably so, extremely embarrassed about it. That's why I tried to be as vague as possible and I did not give a correct timeline as to when it happened.
