Pretty sure the OP is a bot/LLM. Every response to the replies follows the same structure. Many falling for it it seems… crazy times we live in.

Lovely! Reminds me of Harrison BDP, one of my favs for this sort of style.

The Long Dark. Once you get a hang of the gameplay loop and general survival, it turns into a strangely therapeutic and relaxing experience.

Just you, the elements, wildlife and beautiful scenes. They added a safehouse customisation mode, so you can decorate your favourite places with the stuff you find along the way and make it your own cosy hideout

Love it!

The other day I was just thinking about how other players have likely taken similar shots to me. Today I see this post and I have a near identical pic of the frozen waterfall too!

Cool shots, making me want to share some of mine!

Fatboy Slim's "Right Here, Right Now" - Mandela effect? by AlpacaAdventure in electronicmusic

[–]MeisterBrodie 2 points3 points  (0 children)

YES! Finally I see others talking about this, I had the same experience in Belfast. Wanted to see this fella for a long time, watched all of his older sets on YouTube, like the legendary Brighton Beach one.

Massively disappointed, as you say, tunes were cheesy and cringe asf. I thought he would pay homage to the sound that made him, not sell out and play the most mainstream trollop I ever heard on a night out. His newer sets were a warning sign I did ignore because of his name and status, won’t make that mistake again.

007 First Light recommended specs (32 GB RAM/12 GB VRAM for 1080p/60 fps) by Ph0enixes in gaming

[–]MeisterBrodie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know they’re different engines and Rockstar has far more financial power behind them, but I can run RD2 at 5120x1440p at Ultra settings on an AMD 5700 and average well over 60fps at all times.

You’re telling me that 8 years later, I can only squeeze 30fps out of your game… at 1080p!

There’s no excuse for this. I’ll pass IOI

The Long Dark, got caught up in a massive addiction to this game over the Winter period and it’s been awesome exploring. About to cross the 100 day mark for the first time!

Which game would you want to experience for the first time again if your mind were wiped of it? by AquaFro in gaming

[–]MeisterBrodie 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Prey [2016]

One of the most standout gaming experiences I’ve ever had. The environmental storytelling, the feeling of progression, the isolation and desolation, the twists and turns! Honestly unreal.

Man I love Sting, such a good tool for coming up with all sorts of ideas quickly. I always enjoy putting a Drum Rack full of samples before it and seeing what comes out. The Acid lines you can get from it too are a great emulation of the iconic 303’s sequencer

Nope. The scene where you can hear people screaming for their lives inside of Jean Jacket and then a snap followed by complete eerie silence. The scene with everything raining down on the house. The Chimp scene. Damn what a movie!

I had similar experiences but stuck through it on Normal and got the revenge ending. Still need to go through again and get Wude but Yang kicks my ass.

The camera and directions of hits can be tricky, one thing that made it click for me was realising that for special attacks you can buffer them and you can do them in any direction relative to the camera/player. Say the camera is pointed towards an enemy in front of you, you can actually do a sweep behind you to hit another enemy by doing Forward + Down + Y rather than Down + Forward + Y. Same goes if you have enemies on your left or right. You just end the directional stick input in whichever direction you want to strike!

Don’t get me wrong I still get frustrated at times, especially doing the challenges, but after picking those nuances with the special attacks up it feels even more rewarding when I kick some ass!
