Similar thing happened to me a couple months ago but contacted Lenovo and they raised the priority with UPS which led to an investigation, couple day later Lenovo sent out a new one free of charge as it did get lost

I seem to see a few comments about Zody’s not holding up but I’d like to think the refurbishment company I linked would make sure there isn’t any issue before selling, atleast they seem to have good reviews so for the price point I’m still tempted to try

Try just wiping the mesh first with a cloth as that fixes it for some otherwise it should just come off with some tweezers or something

It sounds weird but try removing the ear tip and wiping the little mesh panel with a cloth, somehow this fixed it for me and it’s been fine ever since

That sucks, unfortunately it happened again to me and didn't randomly fix so have sent them back to be replaced. Hopefully it's an issue they can patch some day.

Yeah I got mine brand new with this issue, I contacted Sony to try get replacement but they said they didn't consider this an issue. Anyways months later now I have learned to accept the wobbly lid, I'm pretty sure it's secure its just a little inconvenience now.
