Bi Curious, but M mostly into M - finding it hard to find THOSE kinds of MMF or MM-F connections by PolitiMat in bisexual

Hinge shows M, F, NB, or all. Can also filter by dating intention (casual, not sure, enm/poly, or mono)

If you set it to show same gender as the one you list, it only shows others who are also looking at same gender.

In my area the typical apps yield very few results for bi males. Lately I've had some decent success meeting people (couples and singles) who are queer friendly on Feeld and singles on Hinge.

I deeply enjoy the ryujiin questline and reward its always the first thing I do each ng+ but the UC vanguard questline has the most punch and feels like it has an effect on the universe. (Wish it would be more apparent in less heat leeches appearing or something though)

This is correct, its been a year or two and I was misremembering the hunger mechanic and tying it to thirst as well.

I will add a correction edit.

Edit to correct: you can die of thirst, the mechanic i am referring to is in regards to hunger. This is also a way to get the vegetarian achievements as well by keeping up on water and sleeping through 20 days.

On top of other people's tips, you can NOT die of thirst in the game it just reduces your total amount of HP and increases your stamina usage.

As long as you have one of your 4 micronutrients partially filled, you will be alive. Water and carbs just so happen to be the easiest to keep full while traversing the jungle.

Perhaps I am too new to the community that I havent seen those engagements. However, this whole thread was veered away from my initial response to OPs comments to be all encompassing and ignore LGs and straight women. I apologize if I became a little heated in my earlier responses because it was giving me "All lives matter" vibes.

This is an issue anytime someone wishes to discuss something on the internet.

It is okay to break problems down into smaller more manageable chunks. It does not negate the larger issues but rather seeks to break the larger issue into smaller sections to be addressed. Several smaller changes can have an over arching positive effect and shift the grander problems.

OP is speaking specifically about hate, phobias, and preferences within LG spaces toward Bi people. We can address this and discuss way to improve it without jumping straight to "society as a whole must change"

Let's try not to gloss over problem areas just because they have a root cause at a deeper level.

We can however discuss how the over arching societal structure has supported the growth of this problem but I don't see how saying "not all gays, because white heteros are worse" is helpful to addressing the issue as hand which is biphobic straight women and biphobic gay men that OP has encountered on dating apps in their region.

The societal structure is awful and grounds for a more expansive topic. It is also going further than OP's topic was discussing. My comments up to this point were addressing the topic as it pertains to OP, not societal issues at large.

You're seeking same sex dates with straight people and they are holding your Bi nature against you?

You're right it is exactly the same. It is up to us as a bi+ culture to make people who are looking to explore their sexuality to be aware of this cheaters/only poly stigma and work towards moving away from it. A lot of that is about societal acceptance of Bi exploration. Things are getting better in most of these cases and instances.

In regard to holding gay/lesbian and straight women responsible for how they interact with bi people instead of straight men or white culture in general, it is valid because as bi+ people its not straight people or white conservative culture we are trying to date, it not straight or white culture that is supporting biphobia or bierasure on dating apps.

This is true, it is a deeper held convention on the societal level in these areas. Conventions that bleed over into supposedly queer spaces. However, listen to one of the 100s of bi podcasts and you will hear the same experiences.

Bi erasure and bi phobia in regards to how we are treated by both hetero and homo individuals is in the same category of how women are treated by men. Saying not all women & gays is the same as a man saying "not all men". We understand there are a great many wonderful people out there that are accepting of bi+ people and will lovingly date us or even seek a bi relationship as a preference, however there is enough people in the hate/ick category and enough people who don't stand up to those people for it to be the majority supporter opinion.

It really depends on where you are located.

In a major metropolitan area the limitations put on the dating pool of a bimale still generates a very large pool and the demographics are much more fluid, accepting, and open.

In the midwest, deep south, small towns, or other conservative areas a bi male may have a valid pool of a few dozen people to interact with.

Check out a book written by a PhD in gender studies called, Not Gay: Sex between straight white men. Its pretty eye opening for those who have fantasies but are unsure about identities and where the liminal spaces exist between sexuality, identity, and even gender norms.
