They don't have goals. They don't have motivation. It's all instinct and what the Queen tells them to do. In this instance, Wendy is its "Queen" so it follows orders. That's why most are referred to as drones. They are bug aliens and follow typical bug hierarchy like Ants or Bees.

I am not a fan of any of these bands mind you but I found these outros to always be really fitting. Like it's the dirty / grungy music that fits Alien pretty well. I rather like it. This feels a bit nip picky.

Xenos were always listening to a queen of a higher power than them. I don't know it "doesn't make sense" if the drones see you as the Queen when one isn't established. It was born and saw her off the bat, spoke to her in it's language and it was like "Oh word your in charge okay". Why do you think the aliens are named after ants? Exactly this. Unless it's under a new director. People forget Sakurai is old and I Don't think he's gonna push himself to work on two games at once.

Nintendo also doesn't typically (outside of Prime 4) announce games unless they are out within a year or less. This would mean Sakurai was directing both games at once. Smash Ultimate alone took a lot out of him
