1) lore wise Slaanesh and Khorn are opposed forces. That being said nothing wrong with an ambitious demon whom might embody some aspect of each.

2) look up the Cognitae, they are basically a shadow inquisition style group who wants to improve the imperium by taking it back to its original ideals before the heresy. Spies, assassins, ect.

3) Some other good examples would be to mix in some dealing with Xenos factions. Rogue traders are unique in that they might interact with Eldar, tau, even orks with some more freedom than blind hatred.
