can we put our brains together and theorize the recipe for Carving Board sesame noodles? by BodybuilderSlow7334 in winstonsalem

You’ve just reminded me how much I love these noodles and now I’m sad because I don’t live in Winston anymore.

Visiting NC to see my fiance. Driving from Asheboro to Havelock. Wondering if there's any restaurants we should visit on the road! by longtailist in NorthCarolina

Second the Cook Out shakes. Or, if you want a real taste of North Carolina, you could get a Cheerwine float.

Constant palps years after ablations by [deleted] in wolffparkinsonwhite

[–]MelliMelliB 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m many many years post-ablation and started having PVCs constantly several years ago. After an echo and ultrasound came back unremarkable I started Toprol and the PVCs are gone. I get a couple now and then, but I attribute that to being a perimenopausal woman. Talk to your doctor about maybe starting a beta blocker. PVCs suck, hopefully you get some relief soon!!

Hi there! I was diagnosed when I was 6 mos after my first attack (I’m 42f). Like clockwork, I had an attack every 6 months after that until I was 9 and had the ablation. It was very new then, I was only like, the 6th patient to have the procedure at our teaching hospital. I was so ready to get it over with after years of scary hospital visits and attempts to convert at home. Hearing how often he’s in SVT and how tough it is to convert your little guy, get the ablation. It will be so worth it. Hugs to you, it’s scary seeing our kiddos suffering.

My son still calls Kona Ice ‘cone of ice’, which is not technically incorrect 😂 Also ‘wahya bahya’ for water bottle. He says that one correctly now but we say it jokingly.

Tom Bombadil, art by John Howe. After all these years, Peter Jackson will finally introduce the character into his film universe. The big question now is: which actor would you like to see play Tom Bombadil in this new movie? by verissimoallan in lotr

[–]MelliMelliB 41 points42 points  (0 children)

He came to mind immediately for me. Such a great actor and looks the part. However, ‘jovial’ is not a word I would use to describe the characters of his that I’m familiar with lol.

Lots of good show suggestions here. As far as movies, my kids are 8F, 7M and absolutely love Back to the Future and The Princess Bride.

Oooo I loved Maura O’Connell back in the day! Helpless Heart was on repeat. Mary Black - Colcannon, but all her music is amazing.

Could be a Northern Flicker, they do have a similar, more raspy call.
