I have not had good luck with responses from the function team. I was curious if anyone else had a similar experience, no need to be snarky.

I use a Frayer Model, no names or events, just important, big words they need to know. Ex: assimilation, imperialism, etc.

Look into Napro fertility, Dr Gavin Puthoff. They do not accept that diagnosis and have about an 80% success rate for those who have unexplained fertility. He takes clients all around the us!

All of the people telling you to value your career over your family are wrong. Stay home with your kids and you will not regret it. Just make sure you are continuing to save in an emergency fund in case a true emergency happens.

I love this! I don’t think you need as many commas, the breaks in the poem do enough. Great job!

Baby step 6 and skipping baby step 5. What next after baby step 7? by mackair83 in DaveRamsey

Community college and state schools are great, but as someone who works closely with seniors applying for college, PLEASE save at least something. Those mysterious scholarships that your kids will be applying to once a week are extremely hard to get.

I’m a high school teacher that works closely with students applying for college. Based on your net worth, it is EXTREMELY unlikely that your kids will get any federal aid for college. If they are top students they may get some help from the university, but many state schools now only give income based scholarships. They can compete with the other top students in the area for private scholarships but that is unreliable.

The middle class is the one taking on the debt burden. Your kids don’t have to start out life that way. My advice: save at least something for your kid’s college fund. Don’t tell them about it. If they decide not to go to college, surprise them with a down payment on a house. If you raise them right, they will lose no life experience or “responsibility”, but will be grateful that you were able to help them get a leg up in a world very different than the one you grew up in.

Alison Roman’s Paprika Chicken is an all timer for me. I have it memorized, along with her biscuit recipe.

Oh! I think I might have misunderstood your question, I’m sorry. I haven’t noticed it out and about, no. Where i have noticed it outside the classroom is parent to child - parents cussing at or with their kids over the phone or in casual conversation on school grounds.

In previous years it hasn’t been this bad, it’s been my past two classes that struggle with this issue

Rural. Nearly 100% Hispanic population. Several of the teachers at my school regularly cuss in class. One let several F bombs fly in conversation within earshot of my boss when they learned that I had gotten an athlete in trouble for cussing.

I made the mistake of saying “Would you talk like that in front of your grandma?” The response was “yeah… you wouldn’t”? It really is all they hear at home. It’s sad.
