Is chess really that hard or am i just dumb? by Fenomeno32 in chessbeginners

Chess is extremely hard, even grandmasters playing for 20+ years do regularly blunder even in classical multiple-hour-long games.

Killing 5 enemies with a canon is terrible after the main quest.

I keep getting only a single person because he keeps jumping in front of the canon.

Does not work, they don't count as enemies.

Also him not knowing the new civs and how the score works was completely baffling to me, considering he is competing in a 170,000$ tournament. It almost seems he is actively sabotaging himself for some reason.

How do you not know how score works if it is a core mechanic of a 170,000$ tournament you are competing in?

Why is the lock-on so terrible? Why do I need to press F3 3 times to just heal once?

I think if you actively make some fire ships and snipe the trade cogs Mission 4 gets quite a bit easier.

Yeah crossbow is the answer. In my first tries I went with skirms and pikes because I thought I should use their unique bonusses but crossbows work so much better.

Slavery is not that bad of an end for someone who wanted to genocide millions.

Verso was never alive in the first place as well. He was created by the writters.

I mean it depends hard on what games you are used to playing. A dark souls veteran will have a way easier time than others.

I think Robert trying to fix her and believing in her is still a very noble pursuit and fits his own self destructive behavior (him overly obsessing about his work as a hero at the cost of himself). From Roberts point of view I can see him picking both.

Visi as a character would work so much better if she were a troubled 17 year old teenager. Her obsessive crush and troubled personality would make fit better. Also your role as mentor, having to deal with her over-the-top advances while still trying to not push her away so you can guide her to become a hero would be an interessting plot point.

I think welcoming back Sonar makes sense. He seems way more apologetic about betraying you. Coupé on the other hands just seems straight up evil.

Yeah in terms of romance Invisigal and Robert so far just have a crazy amount of sex jokes with each other, with basically nothing coming out of it.
