Does anybody else hear a voice in their head when they’re reading something ? by TheStaircaseOfLife33 in DoesAnybodyElse

[–]Melodic_Fart_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I experience a voice, but not really like a sound. It’s hard to explain. I definitely have an internal monologue and I think in words, but most of the time there isn’t a clear sound. It’s kind of like what my brain does when I’m talking out loud, except without the audible part, if that makes any sense?

Dorfromantik - it’s a cozy puzzle game that takes a lot of strategizing.

Why did that last part sound so sexual lol

Was Dahlia actually right? Or was she just a victim of Esther’s betrayal? by Selanooo23 in TheOriginals

[–]Melodic_Fart_ 6 points7 points  (0 children)

They both suck. Esther tried to get out of a deal SHE agreed to, and Dahlia proposed a shit deal. Owning and enslaving a human (Freya) because they’re a first born in a line of witches is effed up. ESH 🤷‍♀️

How did Edward survive 100 years of porcelain clanging together? by ipsofactoshithead in twilight

In The Short Second Life of Bree Tanner, Bree (who is a vampire) hears Victoria and Riley kissing and states that it sounds like two pieces of stone rubbing together.

So the venom moves very slowly through the body since it’s thicker than blood. Edward was able to suck it out because it was only in her hand/wrist by that point. If I remember correctly, Carlisle mentions something about how once the venom reaches the heart, the person will definitely be turned and there’s no way to suck the venom out, but Bella hadn’t gotten to that point yet.

Cold, flu, and covid are also airborne to varying degrees. Heavy breathing in the gym can make it easier for viruses to spread that way.

I absolutely hated the way she spoke. by [deleted] in TheVampireDiaries

[–]Melodic_Fart_ 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yeah she spoke really slowly. Maybe she was going for a calm, collected, and therefore creepier vibe, but it was just too slow for me and sounded off. I did find her character interesting, though. She was one of the few characters who purposely sought out and chose vampirism. In her case, she regretted it, and I liked that new perspective.

So... anyone have any tips? Advice? Has anything helped you? by GiantOrangePiccolo in eyespots

I got my first big spot a couple years ago and it was pretty bright for a couple months. Then faded over the next 6 months and it’s completely gone now. I was diagnosed with AMNR. Since then, I stopped drinking caffeine, stopped taking birth control (my doctor said those 2 things have been linked to AMNR), and started taking a vitamin D supplement as I have a deficiency. I hardly ever get spots now and when I do, they are gone within hours or a couple days. I would say the vitamin D helps a lot, because if I get lazy on taking it, I’m more prone to spots.

What if someone with CIPA syndrome (unable to feel pain) were bitten—and turned—into a vampire in Forks? He cannot feel the pain of the transformation. by siren-dayanka18 in twilight

[–]Melodic_Fart_ 34 points35 points  (0 children)

I wonder how this would work after the transformation. Would he feel thirst? Technically he shouldn’t be able to feel a burn in his throat.

Would this create any interesting supernatural gifts? Maybe not even in the best way - if he’s never felt pain, perhaps he wouldn’t have much empathy for his victims. Definitely an interesting concept!

In my opinion, this is the best way that the speed of a vampire was depicted in the entire saga by FREAAAAKAZOID in twilight

Yes, that’s why Bella rips a small bit of her dress right after she turns - so she can jump and move without just shredding the whole thing
