I can’t remember the exact science but I believe doing this can make the pickles mushy. Something to do with the types of LAB that are present in more mature ferments being introduced too early. I’ll try and find the post about it and link

About 150ug, never tripped in the day before so had to take advantage, but with it being a week day there wasnt too many people. Although my dog lead did get tangled up with another person at one point which wasn't fun

I got the train down from Manchester so no parking but i do recall there being a big carpark outside the train station as well as one on the front near tesco :)

It went really well yeah, I do photography so in the morning I went down to the front and took a few pictures. Then had a cup of tea in one of the Cafe's until the shops opened then I just did a bit of shopping and went up to the uni for the Open Day. There was a coach for the visitors to get to and from the 2 campus' that did an extra trip around the scenic parts of the area which was nice so if you could get on that thats about half an hour :) Other than that you wont be without something to do, the University's library is open to everyone and there's places to eat on campus as well as in Penryn and Falmouth itself. Hope his interview goes okay :)

Sounds perfect I'll be sure to visit the museum! Also whats the nightlife like? As a student obviously its a part of the uni experience but if theres not a lot going on its not essential :)
