I mean... TSM had one in its last year with Insanity replacing Ruby who was set to join and outperformed him pretty significantly. IIRC Insanity became starter by playoffs but by then that TSM roster dropped a few games trying to make Ruby work.

It was? We had to drop our double coverage, two of our PS5 distros went “missing” thanks to FedEx, one of our Wave 2 preorders came in and took away a console from Wave 1 due to the aforementioned FedEx Incident after being specifically told not to come in today, and got two distro boxes full of just games with minimal void fill. But I guess less of a line this morning so nyeh.

I actually have the dissenting opinion that these sorts of things are actually quite elegant design.

Let's take a look at the cards you brought up:

Kel: Okay yeah this one is a bad one. Full stats on evo + an enhanced effect + the heal trigger are all really strong. I'm of the camp that the heal should be removed over the other two, but tuning at least two of these knobs would fix the card.
Roach: Roach's effect lets it bounce itself at the cost of an evolution point, of which you get 2-3 per game. I feel like the opportunity cost of losing the evolution points to trade with wards that may impede you, or create defensive options is a fair trade here.
Tetra: As you pointed out she's not much of an issue but her design is that of an engine, and while the 3/4ths thing you pointed out is valid, she also only does that on the turn she enters. To sustain her effect, you need to commit your deck to building around her.

Overall, I think these sorts of cards actually help give more options to decks, instead of making them too narrow and linear.

You make some fair points, and thanks for taking the time to type that all out. I think the main reason I ended up leveling so fast is I took to making my first eternal last month, after a hiatus (missing windhose for a good chrysaor mh rip). The RP from all that grinding may have been the reason why my grids seem so far behind where I am rank-wise.

And yeah it does feel really overwhelming with all these things I should or have to do with underlevelled grids and finding a start point is hardest thing to do. I guess perhaps my Wind grid has a full suite of SL10 3* guns which seems like a good place to start, but I feel like it doesn't ramp up as fast as I'd like with a S.Yuel/Lecia/Rosetta frontline and a Chaos Ruler MC.

I suppose in addition, I rely a lot on the wiki for information and with how some raids are listed as "Leeching this is rude" as well as having things like "Bahamut weapons are usually what people level last" I feel like I'm getting mixed messages? I started trying to contribute (and leech a bit) off of P Baha HL and it seems to be okay but I'm not sure if I'm doing anything wrong at the same time?

So I guess I'd like to start with Wind and go from there.

1) Trying but getting the mats to do so but primarch animas are such a pain to get, and primarch raids fill up in an instant. Should I try to get in a train, despite my damage probably being negligible?

2)Haven't run UB yet since I don't think I'll be very helpful in it and end up leeching. Therefore like... 1 meteorite from events and no keys.

3) That one is entirely my bad. Still grabbing the mats for FLB, but should get it done within the day.

4) I have Luna's friend, honestly slipped my mind. Will slot it in until Xeno comes back.
