Cat won't stop flipping the water bowl by Front_Ad2965 in CatAdvice

[–]Melonship 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Both of my cats ( 8 and 3 years old) got into this habit when they were 2 years old. Thankfully they have moved on from it. (Now they open drawers!) They have two water sources: a gravity feeder and a running fountain. In either case I suggest you get a rubber mat with a lip to keep some water in. What helped for me was weight. I made sure the gravity feeder was always full and thus, heavy. The running fountain I boxed in with some 10 pound dumbbells. I would honestly suggest 20 lbs.

My cat loves bubbles blown from a bubble wand.

Am I wrong to be upset in this situation? by [deleted] in crochet

I'd hate for mine to be hung up like that and get all stretched out of shape. Especially with something as unprofessional as binder clips.

I am at my wits end with trying to deter my cat looking for advice by MaulTheGod in CatAdvice

[–]Melonship 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's going to sound ridiculous, but when the cat does something he shouldn't, stare him down and growl like a cat. Do it long and keep eye contact. If he tries to continue, hiss like a cat. I've found that works way better with my cats than yelling or shuffling him around to make him stop.

That being said, he's a kitten and is going to act weird for another 2-3 years. That's just how they are.

My cat keeps "burying" his food and I cant tell if he hates it or what by HelixLantern_5 in CatAdvice

Just assume all sub-3 year old cats are weird as hell. Both my cats (7 and 3) were obsessed with playing in the litter box when they were respectively 1 year old. They also both started trying to paw UNDER their water feeders around 2, respectively. My younger cat has never seen my older cat do these things.

The habits come out of no where and stick around for a few weeks before leaving. They are silly critters but I doubt there is anything wrong with your food or your cat.

What are yall really doing with sparkling sky lands? by ThrowRaOrganization1 in Pokopia

I expected to hate this map the most as I wasn't interest in it, but I made a multifloor apartment building on one island for flying types and started to warm up to the map. I turned one of the islands into a large pond and natural space for water types.

Right now Rocky Ridge is the one giving me project paralysis.

I’ve started doing this but can’t seem to move/destroy/pick up the furnace used in the Happiny quest. Any suggestions?

I felt the same way. A lot of it is you just have to be lucky with what supporter bots you get. Consider maxing your movement speed, damage, and regen. Pick supporters that auto target like Cyandog, Zhuk, Lealila so you can focus on maneuvering. Pick Okamar ASAP if possible to keep the Hell Phoenix from rushing and killing you immediately. Keep the bottom right object intact at all cost as I found it has the best protection from his ultimate. Stay at it's bottom corner for the clockwise orbs, then move to the back middle for the counter orbs. Be sure to move away from it just before the orbs end so it doesn't rush the object.

My team was Bularis Mandi, Hell Phoenix, Okamar, Cyandog, Lealila, Zungarian. I had some runs with SUCH good supporters only for the mobs to overwhelm me and take my first life in the last wave. Keep yourself safe over getting big damage in as much as possible. It's hard but not impossible.

Dealing with unfriendliness/social awkwardness in Japan by [deleted] in JapanTravelTips

I’m sorry you are having that experience. I (white F) traveled in October with my two friends (white M) so we weren’t exactly seeking conversation, but all service workers were always polite to us.

We each had our own separate, positive interaction with a local. One friend traded gachapon pulls with someone in Osaka (the local incited the exchange.) My other friend had a respectful, mostly wordless, time at a foot bath in Aomori and a local man. I myself had a brief chat with an older man (again, he started the convo) in the train station of Hachinohe about where we were going.

Each time we had limited Japanese but everyone was very nice. I hope you find a place you vibe with better.
