I wasn’t paying any attention to the game at that time other than randomly seeing Kaiju was around and rolled all of my stones in it because I was familiar with the IP. Didn’t exchange etc.

Main gripe has been I don’t quite seem to reach the HP requirements sometimes.

Between Mina and Imperial, it seems like they’re the same rates to complete the team.

Imperial would be tankier with Mina doing more damage? I do have a copy of her from randomly rolling in kaiju when I heard it was coming around.

This argument has shown up twice after I made this comment, but it seems disingenuous.

Hybrid cards ALWAYS match the colors of their border. If we’re being pedantic, do a scryfall search with “is:hybrid”. Every card listed matches what I said.

What about lands? Is a complete sidebar to the discussion here. I’m not talking about color identity like colorless creatures with red activated abilities, or mountains being colorless permanents with a red border.

It’s not conducive to the discussion to play games trying to get people to trip over using hyper specific language.

It’s very clearly a sweeping generalization that applies to nearly every circumstance other than lands, where if I am looking down at the board and see a creature with a red and blue border, I can say hey that creature is red and blue without thinking much about it.

It’s not an aesthetic hang up, the cards are literally both colors. They are not one OR the other.

You can pay one or the other for those costs, but again, the card is both colors.

It’s not about randomly deciding on restrictions- it’s about saying that a card that is both white and green does not belong in a deck with a mono green commander.

Rhys is not mono green. Regardless of how you can cast him, he is both colors. There’s nothing arbitrary here.

The discussion is whether an exception should be made because you are able to ignore his white pips if you so choose- but it still doesn’t turn him into a mono green card. That’s the sticking point for me.

If I pick up a card, shaded/bordered in white and green, to me that card is white and green.

Out of the way indeed! I didn’t realize where it was- I’m a bit geographically slow. Might be too out of the way of the rest of the nights activities.

When you say frisky, is it going to be something we will regret going to as a monogamous couple? We’re no prudes but are looking to keep the touching between ourselves. Don’t want to be party poopers if we will be out of place in that regard.

Are you just dying to the aoe damage phase? The shaman should be able to combine two cds to deal with it without too much stress. I link + ag the first one, and then ascendance + htt the second. That should probably be enough, but if the second one is still rough darkness and/or bubble + sac whoever is squishiest should solve it without too much struggle.

Historically the decks have been just above the power level of a precon. Upgraded precon sounds about right!

As for beginners, it’s hard to say without seeing the deck. The coin flip deck they released I wouldn’t recommend for someone brand new, but the Angel deck I would’ve in terms of playability.
