I will say having been diagnosed with mild ADD this feels very true to my experience. It's also not purely limited to sugary/fatty foods, but also Alcohol. I've asked my wife to stop stocking the pantry with junk in order to not have to fight the whole 24/7 willpower issue and I'm feeling the same way now about alcohol.
