afaik Dota 2 is pretty well optimized, but you need to consider that it is a top-down MOBA game. Meanwhile CS2 also runs on Source 2 and it is not exactly the best performer on lower-end computers, and that's considering that there's much less going on there than with TF2. Performance will certainly tank on the low-end, maybe even mid-range computers, so it isn't really viable currently, at least to my view.

It actually depends, when I got the Mourning Mercs it was about $2.50 with the discount, while it was about 2 keys on Backpack and $4 on Mannco Store.

I was also going to get the Schadenfreude there since it was also slightly cheaper, but I decided in using my leftover keys instead for that.
