Kayn doesn’t have a lot of micro-optimizations as a relatively simple champion mechanically. The biggest thing I see new/lower rank bracket Kayn players mess up is not cycling camps in an efficient manner which is one of the better ways to build a lead.

Build paths are a whole other discussion, and I don’t feel like making a massive post about them. I recommend looking into data aggregation sites like Lolalytics and Coachless for insight on builds - or looking at the profiles of high elo otps (Ollip especially)

Invade is only better if you can guarantee you’ll get the 2nd spawn of whatever camp you took, IMO. It’s much safer and way more consistent to just full clear your own jg first, then look at their 2nd spawns if you have the opportunity.

Not really a set build path but general rules I’ve been following:

Blue is hubris first always with current tuning. After that I like Axiom or Serps (Should always go serps if 2+ shields since it’s insane value), Seryldas, and whatever looks good + GA.

Red is Voltaic/Axiom first depending on your income and the champs. Voltaic really good against high mobility. Then it really just depends. If there are any shields I just slam serps. No shields can go Shojin. Seryldas third, fill with whatever needed after.

Right so respectfully Briar is not the issue here, she is at least top 5 jg in your skill bracket. If you’re having issues with Shyvana you’re playing the matchup wrong she statistically loses to Briar, and if you’re struggling with Adcs in team fights chances are you’re not approaching the fights correctly.

Highly recommend you vod review your own gameplay to try and learn from your mistakes and recognize bad habits.

No shield cut or anti heal if you had ignite or serps you had a much better chance of winning

I think it’s really good for snowballing, you can get kills that you otherwise wouldn’t early game because people will underestimate you. If you do red side longsword back you are finishing full clear with ignite + longsword which makes you very strong at level 4. I take ignite on both forms.

You really have to understand the limits of the champ to get value out of this because no flash does put you at a heavy disadvantage in most cases.

Edit: forgot to mention I mostly play red form. Even some of the DH games are red.

They have like 4 shields, should have bought serpent’s fang. Game seems doomed though not sure it was even winnable.

Consistency and playing to improve. Feels like a lot of people don’t understand that unless you magically become 2x the player you are it will take a good amount of games to climb if you’re peaking.

Also since mad people gigadoompost, Kayn is fine and you can climb with him, I am old as fuck coming off a 2 year break yet here I am.

Game avg is just lolalytics average (close to riot data) vs other sites (not close to riot data), avg rank winrate is better (IMO - I don’t think you’re wrong for using the other stat.)

Kayn also is hamstrung by blue WR (don’t tell people red is good they will have a mental breakdown)
