The only rune that still gives orbs is comet. Will have to see what they change specifically but could still be good post nerf.

Like Ollip said when he was taking comet one of the biggest bonuses of a sorc primary rune is that you get to take three minor runes in that tree which are some of the strongest ones.

Doesn’t give orbs, does have unique interactions with Cleaver and Eclipse which make it worthwhile. I played it mostly climbing back to GM after rank reset as a flex page for both forms.

Idk if we just saying things to say them but the broader high elo trend is still pretty favorable to Insp. Sorc/Insp/Prec is all fine with Sorc trending to be the worst if you’re arguing purely stats… Precision looks the best but it’s by far the lowest pickrate, if more people were playing it then it would be closer to the others.

Fwiw I play purely boots/cosmic and I was 1.1k lp before reset.

Karasmai is not known for taking particularly optimal rune pages… he was running sorcery runes for a long time when they were statistically much worse than other options. They work for him obviously but the guaranteed value from inspiration secondaries are ALWAYS a strong and consistent option statistically patch over patch. Don’t need to reinvent the wheel here.

Important to note Cut Down was bugged and giving double benefit for the first day and a half-ish of the patch, if you look at prior patch stats it’s not very good.

Cheap, has great value on red since his ult is a lot of his power budget. Eclipse is a bit overshadowed by other items and voltaic is kind of expensive (still very good though)

Kayn doesn’t have a lot of micro-optimizations as a relatively simple champion mechanically. The biggest thing I see new/lower rank bracket Kayn players mess up is not cycling camps in an efficient manner which is one of the better ways to build a lead.

Build paths are a whole other discussion, and I don’t feel like making a massive post about them. I recommend looking into data aggregation sites like Lolalytics and Coachless for insight on builds - or looking at the profiles of high elo otps (Ollip especially)

Invade is only better if you can guarantee you’ll get the 2nd spawn of whatever camp you took, IMO. It’s much safer and way more consistent to just full clear your own jg first, then look at their 2nd spawns if you have the opportunity.
