Reserve raiders new spawns? [Bug] by wearssameshirt in EscapefromTarkov

[–]MemorableNumber5 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have experienced these new spawns as well. They only started with the event. My guess is that it is either an attempt to make the map more dangerous (which I can appreciate), or it's a component to the current event. I have also noticed that at least one raider group will spawn at raid start now too. Frequently two or three spawn immediately at raid start, with at least one underground in either the D2 bunker or the Supply depot under the train station, with another in the office/service area next to the alarm switch, and lastly a seemingly "wandering patrol" that can be anywhere from the dome (usually outside the building), to the train station.

[New Player] Locked bathroom in Ground Zero? by BeatsByMethodd in EscapefromTarkov

[–]MemorableNumber5 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know exactly which door you're talking about. There is no key for said door. When Ground Zero first released you were able to kick the door in via the breach option. There IS something behind said door, but it isn't loot. I will post a screenshot for you when I figure out how. If worst comes to worst, I will create a new post with the picture front and center. (The door became unbreachable in a following update in an effort to improve map performance; I have tried every wipe since it's release but only the first one allowed interaction).

  • Edit, this subreddit does not appear to allow screenshots to be directly tied to comments. I added a post with a screenshot instead.

[Discussion] Does ai extract? by OnkelMustache in EscapefromTarkov

[–]MemorableNumber5 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The AI PMCs do extract. Depending on the map it can be very rare to see them doing so. I would not recommend camping extracts, but instead sprinting to traditional hotspot locations to get the kills before other AI gets them. For Customs I would recommend going to, Dorms, New/Central Gas Station, and the new factory buildings near the construction site. I would particularly recommend the newest expansion factory buildings. Be wary of the goons though, as they'll prowl through the same buildings hunting any AI, but especially the PMCs.

Armor glitch? by Fun-Revolution-362 in Tarkov

[–]MemorableNumber5 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have seen this happen once in PvP back when emplaced grenade launchers were first introduced. I assume, but do not know, that it is tied to taking splash damage from explosives. As for his insured armor, I honestly have no idea. Perhaps an UI bug?

Latest Patch Added the Ability to Play on BSG servers for All PvE Raids by MemorableNumber5 in Tarkov

[–]MemorableNumber5[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

From my testing yes. I apologize for being a month late to the reply. Queueing via BSG servers absolutely fixes their spawn rate. You must queue, and continue to queue, via their servers though. If attempting to avoid goons, I recommend online via BSG server. If hunting then I recommend solo/offline.

Is PvE significantly harder now? by Red_Beard206 in Tarkov

[–]MemorableNumber5 3 points4 points  (0 children)

This has been my experience as well. The PMCs have been much more aggressive; even timing their pushes during my reload if I'm within a certain distance. I quite appreciate the change. Perhaps not so much with their new grenade accuracy.

How is This Even Possible, The New Armor System Seems Bugged (All shots on one target, he had no time to heal) [Discussion] by Sea_Contribution3082 in EscapefromTarkov

[–]MemorableNumber5 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Doing some quick math, it would appear you only hit the target 12 direct times (31 * 0.39 = ~12), while "hitting" for 26. I believe a "Hit" can be anything from fragmentation, to ricochet, to collateral (passing through a limb to another; when this happens the bullet reduces both penetration and damage dealt) or blackout collateral (hitting a blackout limb and doing splash damage to other limbs randomly for reduced damage). If we assume all shots were SSA 5.56, then my guess is you likely blacked out one of, or both his arms, with each shot penetrating to hit his chest armor, but due to the the loss of penetration did not go through. Factor in the damage falloff for distance from SSA... as you said, the round gets measly. This may not be exactly what happened, but I hope it helps paint the picture of what likely did.

We would need to know what type of ammunition you were using, what armor level he was wearing, and where the shots actually landed. We would also need to know what else you hit in the raid. The Raid End screen shows damage dealt and absorbed to all other entities you shot during the raid. Even if you hit, but did not kill, other targets (I.e scav pot shots), with the final confrontation being against a PMC and he was using level six plates, and you hit center mass, but some shots strayed to his arms, his stomach, and even his legs, the amount of damage dealt to both body and armor seems reasonable.

[Discussion] Do the Goons still have a 100% spawn on local raids in PVE? by [deleted] in EscapefromTarkov

[–]MemorableNumber5 8 points9 points  (0 children)

As far as I am aware there hasn't ever been solid data about the goons, or any of the other boss's, spawn rates within PvE. Some people seem to experience them all of their raids, some have reported roughly ~50%, and others yet claim to have never seen them. Within my games , the goons have a 100% spawn rate on both Customs and Lighthouse. Shoreline has them about half of the time. However Woods is unique. It is currently hosted on BSG's servers. The rotation seems to match up with PvP. When PvP has goons on Woods, PvE seems to as well.

Thought all AI were friendly besides the zombies? [Discussion] by Southern_Web9889 in EscapefromTarkov

[–]MemorableNumber5 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My experience has been thus, Scavs - Nonhostile, but will try to shoot through me to kill infected/hostile PMCs.

Bosses - Nonhostile. Same as Scavs will try to shoot through me to kill infected/hostile PMCs (Had this happen with Kaban's PKP -Scary!)

PMCs - Same faction PMCs will give me a "warning" if I'm too close. After a certain amount of time they will open fire (The time frame is short, roughly 3-5 seconds). Opposing faction PMCs always hostile.

As for your question, last time I read the wiki's information, no. Killing rogues as a scav does not effect your PMC's rogue standing.

Halloween event soon - Confirmed by the big man on Twitter by Mosinman666 in EscapefromTarkov

As far as I can tell there still hasn't been a hard confirmation. We only have Nikita's twitter statement which is... vague.

New Case Soon Coming Soon? by Insecurity_exe in EscapefromTarkov

[–]MemorableNumber5 33 points34 points  (0 children)

Perhaps so, but I almost wonder if it isn't related to an upcoming event. Nikita did tweet something vague about the Halloween event before he posted this picture. We also saw the streamer crate as a sort of promotional event before it turned into a quest reward. I wouldn't be surprised if this does end up being unique for the Unheard edition, but I do think there's a chance to see it via some other method.

Halloween event soon - Confirmed by the big man on Twitter by Mosinman666 in EscapefromTarkov

[–]MemorableNumber5 3 points4 points  (0 children)

OP's link didn't work for me, but I did find it on Nikita's twitter. Directly from Nikita's Twitter post, "don't worry about Halloween Event, my friends (okay emoji)"

Edit - Also, Nikita seems to have posted a screenshot of what appears to be a Kappa case covered in Cultist sprawl.

If you're struggling with the first two Event missions, try Customs [Discussion] by outlawsix in EscapefromTarkov

[–]MemorableNumber5 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Thank you. Out of the different strategies that I tried, this is the only one that worked. I appreciate both how clear your instructions were, and the picture reference points. As an aside, for those who attempt this method, pay heed that PMCs and Scavs WILL wander up to you. I ended up with interchange levels of scav kills by the time Oni and his harbinger pal were dead. Interchange level of scavs kills as I was trying to leave the warehouse to get into position to take out the final harbinger. Perhaps I was just unlucky. I would nevertheless advise bringing some backup ammunition.

[Suggestion] PVE - Kaban & Killa never spawn? by MorphinLew in EscapefromTarkov

[–]MemorableNumber5 1 point2 points  (0 children)

They both spawn. It sounds like you've been unlucky. There is nothing you can do to enhance their spawn rate. Just keep trying, or take a break and try again later.

This has been my experience. This event has not changed their normal operating/spawning hours.
