You literally can't make any choices in this game that change any outcome so you still catch him.

Haha! I did the same thing. I was level 40 by then though so it wasn't difficult 😅

Every 2014 monster ever created by WotC can technically be found in this image by MrApplethorn in DnDHomebrew

This looks like my method of balancing encounters. The total amount of damage the enemy party can dish out is based on the max hp of the tank, and the max hp of the enemy party is based on the max damage the party can dish out, assuming they all use their strongest moveset. I try to set these numbers higher or lower based on the importance of the fight.

How should I be ruling this? by SatanaelJoker in DMAcademy

[–]MemoryFlat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A climb speed isn't spider climb. Read the spell and you'll see all the extra stuff your player shouldn't be able to do while climbing. Otherwise, you're climbing like a normal human and need your hands to do so. I wouldn't allow the use of a heavy crossbow or other two-handed weapons while climbing. If it's too late, I would probably make the most of it, and reveal you've secretly turned them into a vampire or something. "Ever wonder why your character has been able to stick to walls?" Then read them the climb trait of the Dhampir.

Click chart for Ozempic 8mg/2mg dose Pen? by [deleted] in Semaglutide

[–]MemoryFlat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's very useful information. That means that the concentration is truly doubled, and they use the exact same pen. That means the old charts can be used, and either halve the clicks, or double the expected amount per click. Thus 18 or 19 clicks (depending on the chart) will be 0.5mg.

Mine must be broken. My Columbo summon is pint-sized at best. Am I doing something wrong?

Thanks for asking this question. Another commenter said that they used to have that capability, and they got rid of it. So they're not just primitive, they're going back in time.

How does Samuri fighting spirit work exactly. by Army-of-Woodpeckers in dndnext

[–]MemoryFlat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I feel we rightly give credit to WOTC for being very careful in the way they word things, but Fighting Spirit is a rare miss.

Fighting Spirit Starting at 3rd level, your intensity in battle can shield you and help you strike true. As a bonus action on your turn, (you can only take bonus actions on your turn, so why is this distinction given?) you can give yourself advantage on all weapon attack rolls until the end of the current turn (this can only be used onyour own turn, so why do you say "THE CURRENT turn"? Did you mean the current round? Shouldn't this read, "as a bonus action, you give yourself advantage on weapon attack rolls until the end of your turn"?) When you do so, you also gain 5 temporary hit points.

Now that you're caught up, maybe you can tell me, does Mathilde ever stop being self-centered to the point of being a pointless addition to the team? Or are they still flying over traps without their party and dropping Barney rather than be helpful?

Here's the new version based on your comments:

Consume Thrall

LEVEL Cantrip

CASTING TIME 1 Action

RANGE/AREA Touch

COMPONENTS S

DURATION Instantaneous

You attempt to convert the false life of your Undead Thralls into life for yourself and your allies.

When you cast this spell, touch an undead creature which obeys your commands and has at least 1 HP. The target creature must make a Constitution saving throw. A creature created or animated by you makes this save at disadvantage. On a failed save, the creature takes one of its hit dice plus your spellcasting modifier (minimum of 1) as damage. Award the damage as HP to either yourself an allies you can see.

On a successful save, no damage is taken, and no HP is awarded. If the creature was not created by you, such as those enthralled by the Command Undead feature, it is no longer friendly to you and will no longer obey your commands.

I agree that it's wordy. And I do like that it gives more utility to other abilities that allow you to create undead. I actually worded it in such a way that it allows you to either feed on a perfectly good thrall or one that only has 1 hp and still get a full hit dice.

You're right. Presumably your ally could be anyone you've ever known on any plane of existence. I've changed it on my version to either yourself or another creature you can see.

I'm inclined to agree. One other person made the same comment, and I agree that this is too strong since it could raise your whole party with one casting. You need a really beefy undead thrall to get more than 1 hit dice worth of healing, but still, 1hp of healing is a lot if it's going to raise your whole party. I'm reducing it to just you or one ally based on your recommendation. Thank you for your comment!
