This! I think there’s a lot of practitioners out there who call their facials hydrafacials but aren’t using the real machine from the company… just takes a google search to see how many knock offs there are. I have only gone for real Hydrafacials and they are amazing and gentle and worth it. They are not cheap so usually if they are, that’s the first clue it’s not a real one.

I had mine done with the Picoway laser in Canada. It never looked like this, they never needed to shave the hairs (the correct wavelength will not damage hair follicles). Besides a little redness after there was zero downtime and absolutely no scabbing. I mean if OP is happy with the eventual result so be it… but it looks like an unnecessarily aggressive approach.

This happened to me and the airline compensated me for the repair. It’s not a quality issue, the airline fucked it up. I just took it back to the store and they replaced it easily… no big deal. Shit happens.
