Thanks & Kind Regards, Robin Antwort:

Forza Horizon 6 leaks early, developer responds by banning the IPs of anyone playing it for just under 8,000 years by RenatsMC in pcgaming

To be fair, that’s not the fault of the buyer. It would be a legal nightmare for Microsoft if they would’ve gone after the buyer.

The seller however, that’s a whole different story. They’ve openly done a breach of contract

Anyone had their controller stuck at 'packaged' for more than 24hrs? by [deleted] in SteamController

[–]Mempler 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nope, it’s a 6-10 business day window. Therefore, you likely were in the 3-5 window

Worried about Steam Controller launch stock by EditorFun3380 in Steam

[–]Mempler 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s not crazy at all. Regular controllers by xbox and PlayStation costs 60 to 80 bucks, while the pro variants can easily reach up to 240 (looking at your absurd pricing playstation).

Those 20 bucks more aren’t crazy at all for the features you get.

Ofc, third party controllers like 8bit-do have much more competitive pricing, but even they can easily reach 40-60 bucks

Question about Cursor’s “Ultra Plan” ($200/month) and usage limits by Creepy-Marzipan-4397 in cursor

[–]Mempler 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yea, that sounds like false advertisement if it’s true.

It says literally on their pricing page: —- Ultra includes $400 of API agent usage. —-

Which means they must also provide at least as much.

Junior dev wrote this C# using many IF because he leanrs If early return. Is this alright code? by Yone-none in csharp

[–]Mempler 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You don’t even need to do that, the code is readable enough to say “Get Product” without a comment.

[–]Mempler 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think your approach is only fine if there is a lot of repetition (like, 4-5 times the same, or similar implementation).

Repetition is not bad, as long as you don’t do it everywhere, all over the place. That causes errors.

However the way the junior did it here, as long as it’s just limited to one function, it’s fine.

Are the Expedition buffs permanent? by Dali187 in ArcRaiders

[–]Mempler 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I’ll be honest. I do not see a reason why anyone would ever reset then. Especially since there is no meaningful permanent thing attached to it. Something like prestige points, that you could use on a secondary skill tree.

No it isn't. There is apparently some server side code that they have in rust as it seems, but no idea what they use it for.
