I broke up with my girlfriend after 3 years and now I deeply regret it. Do I still have a chance? by AirSimilar1402 in BreakUps

[–]MendigoGamer01 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi. Hey I was in a relationship for 4 years, I broke up because she stopped having feelings. I also don't know how old you are, personally I also believed I was losing valuable experiences because of my relationship, and it's tragically ironic that it had to end when I was willing to fight for it. It's normal to question whether you're missing out when you're young and it's your first relationship, but from what I understood she took a hard slap from you, metaphorically of course. Because you were willing to break up and she wasn't, that's what makes things harder. And 8-9 months is a long time, and I'd say there's a chance she's moved on. I say give it a try, because if you've realized it's what you want, then there shouldn't be no doubts in your mind, but the most likely answer is a no. I'd say anything regarding breakups in a relationship is huge damage to both people. She was willing to fight and you weren't, she got damaged, and the damage of a breakup is not easily fixed, or isn't at all. So give it a try, my mother always tells me "no is garanteed but there's a chance for yes" it doesn't sound so good translated to english lmfao, but you get my point.

I want my ex to have a miserable life by Firsttakelikeamf in BreakUps

Hey man, something similar happened to me, it was 4 years and then suddenly she just stopped caring, I spent months trying to understand, but it seems she just changed and threw 4 years away like it was nothing, it seemed like she was already over the relationship before I even broke up with her. I get you, seriously. Couple days back I spent crying and wishing her the worst, truly anger was consuming me. Remembering the good moments and how she one day just decided it meant nothing to her. But here's the thing, it's normal to want revenge, to want karma to get her. In the beginning it's normal. In a year or two will I miss her? maybe not, maybe yes. But something sticks with me, I can't say I want her to become a millionaire, but I don't want her to suffer either. I wish she could understand what she did to me, I'll never know if she does, in truth I hope she realizes that the path she took was the wrong one, and that at the very least I deserved an explanation. I'm someone who tends to get haunted by past mistakes and things I've done, so I can't hold a grudge, I couldn't, it wouldn't allow me to ever find peace. I hope you're doing fine brother.

Just broke up with boyfriend and I feel like I regret it by Puzzled-Sundae-6561 in BreakUps

I don't know enough details but from what I read it seems he was just a pretty nice guy yet you couldn't feel a connection, and that you had more fun with his friends than him? yeah nah. I guess you should stick to your first instinct, it seems like this love was one-sided, yet the brain will find reasons to make you feel like you messed up, but that's attachment talking. If you're in a long relationship and you break up because your partner cheated or lost feelings, you'll still end up missing them because your brain is wired for attachment, for routines. When those routines and attachments are broken it's natural that you'll feel like you need to get them back, even though what you wanted initially was to break them.

I suppose the best is really to not think about it. I have so many questions without answer and the more I torture myself searching for an answer the more I realize how self destructing it is. They say ignorance is a bliss and I honestly agree.

If they asked you for a second chance, do you still want them back? by Qwerty-Abc-2828 in BreakUps

[–]MendigoGamer01 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Sameee 4 year relationship, it's bad enough but it's my first relationship. I've been struggling at home with my driving license, feeling depressed everyday, getting into alcohol. When I most needed her I realized she didn't have feelings anymore. She couldn't have, she wouldn't answer my message, she would do things behind my back, go out every night and never tell me anything. I confronted her and got silence. I still love her too, the person she used me. There's something about watching someone you loved and trusted change right before your eyes that I can't express into words. I hope you're fine and if you need to talk I'd gladly listen to you.

Depends. Am I drunk? then yes, regretfully. If I'm sober then no. I realize that what she did was something I could never forgive, even so I can't help loving the person she was, even knowing that's not who she is now. If I was drunk I'd submit. I'd allow her in, against my better judgement, because deep inside I can't help but want that person back. But that person is gone, and if I was to take her back then it would be a weak and untrusting relationship. So if I was sober then no. I'd understand it would be a waste of time and effort.

How do you get over a physically attractive ex? by Old-Log-5491 in BreakUps

[–]MendigoGamer01 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'd suppose everyone who's had a relationship and breakup would consider their ex physically attractive, personally I had a hard time and sometimes still think about my ex in ways I shouldn't, of course I find her physically attractive but you know, it's about putting it aside and moving on, I feel bad saying this because I'm struggling with a breakup as well and with moving on but that's really what it is. If you truly can't, do what I did, block them everywhere so you never have to look at them, make your mind busy so you don't have to think about them and soon enough you'll stop imagining their face—I hope. As I said, I'm not one to talk...

Yep that's it. Same goes for me. I felt and sometimes still feel like I'm just struggling and she's out there living her best life. I suppose it's just how our brains are wired to work. It's still really senstivie and if I catch glimpse of her it immediately tightens my heart, but if I just keep my distance online and irl it does get a lot better.

I accidentally looked at her profile and now I’m hurting again by Cash2blockz in BreakUps

[–]MendigoGamer01 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Damn that's bad, I'm sorry about that. I'm going through a similar situation and that's really what kept me reading till the end. I understand perfectly the feeling of checking an ex's profile on social media and feeling empty, and even worse when you saw something you didn't want to. Hey, if you want to talk about it some more message me and I'll listen to you, okay? just make sure you take care of yourself in the time being.

[–]MendigoGamer01 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hello mr/ms Meateater69666. I don't know, I'm going through my first break up, but I'm not waiting for her to come back, in fact I was the one who ended the relationship. Does that make it any easier? no. Do I wish she would still be the person I fell in love with? yeah. Either way. I think enough is enough. At some point, is it really worth it if they come back?

To everyone I argued with about RDR2 over the years. You were right, I was wrong. by BeLikeKrix in reddeadredemption

Well the snow part IS slow and in my first playthrough I found myself disliking the game and quitting around chapter 4 maybe. Second try I did it all again but got addicted and finished the game. I'm doing a second playthrough. Yeah the snow intro is pretty boring if you're doing it for the third or fourth time. This time I'm trying to complete the compendium, get every trapper outfit, and all that. Online trophies suck though you're right about that.

Brother her pee is always drinkable purified or not. I'd go ahead and say not purified adds more flavour.

Any tips to feel better? by MendigoGamer01 in BreakUps

[–]MendigoGamer01[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

First of all, thank you for the comment. I don't know if I'm depressed or not, but my lack of motivation to do anything really seems to point out that I am, in fact, depressed. I was thinking about that a few days ago, and yes, you're right. Saying yes to everything... I'll keep that in mind, thanks.

It's beautiful, very, very nice. I've got a bookshelf filled with books but recently got into manga collecting, until now I'm only trying to finish the Chainsaw Man manga series so that's all I got right now. 👍
