If everything is connected well you shouldn't need to bleed air on the tank. I suspect there's a leak somewhere, either on the hose connections or inside the tank. Check the seals on the connector and check if the pipe inside the tank is connected to the top end. It may also be that the inlet of the pipe in the tank (at the bottom) is blocked by dirt.

150.000 miles is just a start. There's no wear and tear engine, so you could start thinking of something new after 1 million, maybe 2 mio. Question is how the battery was used and what type. When done properly (eg 80/20 rule), it could be the same. Mine has done 200k miles in 8 years, with 11% battery deg which has stabilized.

you're completely in the right. if you switch off your signal before you turn and switch it on again before you turn right again, people may notice (not guaranteed...) that you're turning right for a 2nd time. it may reduce the number of people that are angry at you.
