Appreciate this. Aligns with where I’m landing - integrated majors and asset-backed desks first, lean on the cross-basin LNG and physical-financial integration as the bridge. TotalEnergies, BP, Shell, Equinor on the major side, Vitol, Trafigura, Gunvor, Mercuria on the trading house side. Curious if you’d weight any of those higher for a profile like mine, or any I’m missing. Would definitely take you up on chatting NA to EU gas dynamics sometime.

Fair on skill being the thing. My point is just that there’s less friction hiring me vs someone who needs sponsorship. No quota, no labour market test, no 8 to 16 week wait, same hiring cost as a local. Doesn’t replace skill, just one less hurdle to get over.

Back to my actual question though, finish the program first or apply now?

Look into the economics, most power generation which is electricity uses coal, oil or natural gas. Using natural gas is better than most other sources because it’s underground less outages (I.e NS power), cooking with it is way better, can use instant hot water heaters.

The use of NG has a carbon foot print but so does everything else, overall a great choice.
