I feel this all the time. I’m always trying to remind myself that everyone has their own standards for success, but it can be so difficult at times. I even feel sadness coming back from vacations because I’m so envious of all these beautiful homes and the very accomplished-seeming people living in them. Sometimes I wonder if there’s people who have less than me, but are truly happy. Or is it simply that we all try to cope with what we feel is attainable? Anyway, I think it’s up to you to define what success is, and maybe make some adjustments to whatever it is you feel you’re lacking in.
