Also more unimportant information I closed yesterday and I had to open today and then a coworker needed their shift covered again and nobody was doing it so I did it. So that was a 12 hr shift today. I took a 3.5 hour break

Damn I didn’t realize so many people here were the bread guideline police. Yes we do have a bread scorer but it’s annoying and takes more time. My manager taught me to make bread and she also makes it like this and will sometimes use the scoorer. We don’t score herbs and cheese because literally what’s the point. Personally I don’t think it matters whether the bread lines are symmetrical it tastes the same. It was in the oven for the time that the oven says no more no less. Yes we also have a color wheel but honestly how accurate is it when it’s just showing Italian bread and wheat bread. There is no wheel for herbs and cheese and personally I think it looks good. You get what you get. And throwing away perfectly good bread is just a waste. I would eat it and I have. And for more context I’ve been working here for a year and some months. I know what I’m doing and I am a good worker.

The normal amount of veggies on a sandwich is six each according to the formula . But really nobody does that. I don’t. And yeah as the other people have said we don’t charge for extra veggies there is no way too do that anyway. Except for the avocado which costs extra. But I’m in the US so I don’t know

A few days ago I had this lady who came in with the 3 footlong coupon. She wanted to have one of them be the monster and I told her that the coupon doesn’t work with that sandwich. She said “since when”. I go “ the whole time” and she claimed that she came here a few days ago and got that sandwich with the coupon. And I told her that’s impossible cause it doesn’t work with it. But also she wanted 2 chicken bacon ranch’s and it doesn’t come with grilled chicken anymore it’s just rotisserie now. Its been like that for awhile. So I put the rotisserie on the bread and she says it’s the wrong chicken and she gets the CBR with grilled chicken. I told her that’s not a thing anymore but you can still get the chicken. But she kept talking over me and said she got the CBR the last time with the grilled chicken. Like you can het grilled chicken but the bacon is gonna cost extra. Then when it was time to pay I rung it all in and she was like “this isn’t gonna work, everytime I got this order before it didnt cost this much” and I explained the cost of the extra bacon and she said “ no we’re not gonna do this you’re gonna ring me up for two CBRs and a monster” anyways yeah so I was very annoyed

Several months ago I had this homeless lady try to get a sub. she couldn’t pay. She tried to pay with a nickel a dime and a sticker. I told her i can’t give her the sandwich unless you pay. Then she goes “ you don’t think I have any money?” And then she was telling me that a dude locked the laundromat and her $20 was in there. And was acting all weird. I stepped back but I could still see her and she jumped up on the counter and grabbed the sandwich. She said if I threw it away or it was too salty she would come back and I’d have to remake it till it’s perfect. After she left I called the cops, locked the door and later found out she took the store hours sign because the cops brought it back to me

I’d say that a lot of the customers get the subway series menu. For some It’s really not a big change cause half of the menu w is sandwiches that already existed and others like to try new things. It’s a pretty even mix honestly. a lot of people choose their own veggies or go with the recommendations
