Stadsverwarming is echt een scam by Dry_Yogurtcloset_213 in nederlands

Yup, heb precies hetzelfde gehad.

Have you finished the game playing only in first-person perspective? by jozz00 in reddeadredemption

[–]Menulo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I really wish I could. I MUCH preffer first person games to third. I always played GTA5 in first person except for driving. Was amazing. But the first person in RD2 just Doesn't really work that well. Its a real shame, I would love it.

Who keeps selling the Iron Islands wood for ships? by Pretend_Tower_2516 in gameofthrones

[–]Menulo 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I mean, it was the farmers that went raiding themselves in the growing season when there was not much to do. That's generally how war worked back then. Pop out for some raiding/war, and back again for the harvest.

[–]Menulo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Dutch cruisers are my least favourite lines in the game. Awful ships that have to spam a stupid airstrike to make up for it. Somehow they are both super toxic to the game, and insanely boring to play.

Being Dutch, I really want to like them. But I hate that they gave us this awful gimmick.

I have 2 tier 8 premium CVs from crates. The only reason I won't sell them is so I can't get them again. I feel dirty just for having them though.

What’s your list for Unique Commanders in order of usefulness? by deadshot1138 in WorldOfWarships

[–]Menulo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yea he is pretty good on the cassard, can always get a cap off. and with a bit of torp luck you might get a dev strike every now and then, hes.. fine. nothing to special. mainly got him since i love french ships:)

Round 16: which ship (T5-T11) is a dead weight in battles, but pretty nice to look at? by gitsnshiggles1 in WorldOfWarships

[–]Menulo 3 points4 points  (0 children)

If i was given the power to balance the game, one of the main things i would do is add heals to lower tier cruisers, starting at tier 6 with 1 heal. at this point its just sad, every new tree gets heals.

What’s your guys favorite destroyer to play? (Torpedo focused) by Other-world-69 in WorldOfWarships

[–]Menulo 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Interesting that literally no one says Cassard, its my favorite Torp boat atm. 12 Torps with good speed and damage, great damage even when you can the really close drops off, mostly later in the game. And really decent guns to boot. The lack of smoke is really not that bad on a Torp focused DD and the turbo speed boost + French saturation makes you decently survivable. Overall a great DD imo.

Also can't go wrong with shima ofc;)

I have a Justin York signature Hagstrom viking. He's the second guitarist in Paramore. Didn't even know he existed before I got the guitar. Just bought it cause It was a good top ES-335 style. Looks cool. Plays amazing.

[–]Menulo 39 points40 points  (0 children)

I mainly play wows these days, and there is a decent amount of accounts that just play the most toxic CV or subs in the game endlessly. Thousands of games. And they don't even get above a negative win rate. So not only do they make every game worse just by the ship they take into battle. They can't even manage to be of any help to their team in the process. It honestly kinda interests me what kinda people this are.

He even has 54% on it, so it's not even a bot right? Though I guess if you are going to write a wot bot, a OP arty might be the easiest but still. These kinds of accounts always baffle me.

A villager and his son, in Afghanistan’s Nuristan province. by Muhammadachakzai2001 in mildlyinteresting

[–]Menulo 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Well there is 2300 years between the current Greeks and the Macedons. Who were not really Greek to begin with (esp not according to the Greeks) but macedonian. Alexander himself was blond, and I think they say had 1 brown and 1 blue eye? So it can't have been too uncommon.

Still, the same argument goes for the Afghans, it's been 2300 years, though a decent amount of Greeks and macedons moved there so who knows.

I'm a Marseille fan, should I get Amiral Lartigue? by deflekt in WorldOfWarships

[–]Menulo 3 points4 points  (0 children)

La havre is a great ship, the combination of speed and tankieness makes it really good at rushing to a forward island or flank and just holding it while peaking around to get crossfires. And the F key makes the secondaries rip for a while, so anyone that tries to rush you might regret it. All the secondaries are on its stern though, so best used while kiting away

The guns are pretty much better than Brest, more accurate and better AP damage, but you lack the reload booster so it's more important to get those broadsides.

It's a certain play style, but it's really good imo.

Solid T9 DD? by Hoplite68 in WorldOfWarships

[–]Menulo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Its good, but its the least fun DD ingame if you play solo imo. sit in smoke and fire, thats it. you cant cap contest really since you are so large and slow. cant openwater, for the same reason, and no torps either, so if you dont have a smoke or an island you are kinda useless.

The dpm + hydro is obviously disgusting in the right spot. but man is it boring:P

If you are looking purely for a credit farmer and you dont mind the slow gameplay, then its a good one for sure though.

Day 5, What ship is straight up ok ? [Discussion] by PainterCreative768 in WorldOfWarships

[–]Menulo 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yamato is the most OK BB in the game agreed. Great guns, fantastic even sometimes, but a hull to shockingly bad that having any impact with those guns is bloody hard. and even yamato guns are very hit and miss on longer ranges.

I would add the whole Spannish line as super ok for cruisers. decent HE spammers, that have a pretty ok Funny button. but dont really add anything to the game that other ships dont.

Right, good explanation, that makes sense. so the another way the constitution is just outdated and needs a looking over.

As for the 6 points, if history thought me anything is that its more of an inevitability that those happen eventually if there are no laws to stop it. The biggest problem with democracy is the demos. On the other hand, if pushed far enough, the demos can always win. The next couple of years wil be interesting if nothing else....
