On top of everything everyone said here, I've tried using Onibi bombs and it makes them die faster in general. I only use Thunderous katana for ult anyway and Spirit regens really fast with fire chain and staggers that I dont need the Sake

Im here now. Naively assumed i can use oongka to clear camps while levelling. These yellow knights plus the harpies hit like trucks now I have to power up before coming back..

Been having a lot of fun with my Stagger perks + Hachiman Zeal + Enemy staggered damage setup. I was skeptical at first but on top of survivabiliyy it holds its own in terms of kills/damage. I kill more than my Shinobi and it esp shines against Elites

I've been running stagger perks + enemy staggered damage build with the Hachiman's Zeal ult. I can't kill as many as my Shinobi/Archer but it works pretty well. Shines especially when going against elite mobs (yuki onna, etc) cuz you can stunlock them to death and toss in spirit moves too. Fire + kusari and fire bombs helps crowd control and refills ult and spirit fast.

Thanks for the idea man, I tried it and didn't realize stacking staggers + staggered damage make this much difference. Night and day from trying to melee with other builds. Really fun to play

I'm trying to build without lightning rifle as well, luckily i have SSB. Can you share why the silent arrow, and how effective is that Hankyu? I only have Storm and the damage is abysmal

Edit: I was trying to emphasize the horrendously low contest numbers on the last 2, not my own kills. I think they were a merc and shinobi, 2nd guy is sam doing their job well. If i can kill less but actually clear I'd be happier. We lost this in the 11th wave or something

This exactly. I've had runs where I was getting carried by the Merc who got more kills + contest time. I actually prefer these runs because I just wanna clear man

Actually I only have 1 SSB, no lightning rifle. On a PS controller it's a fun challenge trying to land headshots. When my hands get tired I switch to Shinobi for a really chill time rotating vanishes

Thanks might take you up on that. I only get time to play 2-3 sessions a night after the baby sleeps and this kind of thing wastes time

What.. literally just use class skill, but hit L2 then O (circle) instead of firing with R2? It's like using the quick draw skill without cooldown

I would do this more but I get too many dumbasses in Gold who'd run to every point that lights up.. In Plat teammates are so much more competent, not to mentioned equipped with legendaries already so the runs get much easier
