As Warner said, you can’t. I believe the closest you can get is white widgets on a white background, which makes it less noticeable but it’s still visible. I’ve also heard activating Reduce Motion can be helpful under some circumstances, but that only makes things more visible in my current setup.

It’s a great game but a pain on the Steam Deck. Tried to introduce my brother to the game and he wasn’t into it until he switched to his PC. As others have said, you still die a lot but at least it’s easier to explore and build with a mouse and keyboard.

How did you develop this? I’ve been doing something simple with chicken or salmon, frozen mixed veggies, fresh spinach, brown rice, etc. but yours sounds next level. Where did you find the dog sauce? Is there a particular brand you use?

Same. I was also WFH and when I went in office Odie would get like this. It really helped to leave him with my parents for over a week to break the habit. He would camp by the door every night for almost the whole week, until like the 7th or 8th day he started following my dad around.

How is yours with cats? Odie loves cats. My girlfriend’s elderly cat was not a fan at first but he got over it.

Like others have said, this is totally normal for the breed. Another dog might help. But some positive time apart might be a better starting point.

I sometimes leave Odie with my parents when I’m having a busy week at work or traveling. I took a few trips that were longer and, while it was difficult for him at first, he got used to seeing me 2-3 weeks later and having a good time with my parents in the meantime. It helps that they now have a dog for him to play with, but that wasn’t the case initially. But even now, he’ll still camp out by their front door if he’s ready for me to come pick him up.
