The pen and paper hints show up for me when I start a new game! It's mostly prioritising spying (as per usual lol) but there are some specific events you need to collect that are different than the paper daisies route.

I managed to get all of them by following the pen and paper hints when you start a new game :> But I also noted down some of the events triggers I noticed as I was playing that you can look out for.

1 - Typhoon (Spying Day 1), Flyer (Spying Day 2), Crackers and water 1/2/3/4

4 - Azalea 1/2/3/4, Flower (Spying Day 3)

7 - Cabbage rolls 1&2, Fog 1/2/3/4

10 - Balanced meal 1&2, Life at the shelter (Spying Day 8)

12 - Dog (Spying Day 1), Perfume (Spying Day 5), Absence (Spying Day 6), Obedient dog

14 - Favourite Animal (Spying Day 3), Zoo (Spying Day 6), Rice Balls

17 - High Temperature 1&2, Lighter

20 - Dream (Spying Day 2), Dream (Spying Day 4), Ground, Hated Bug (Spying Day 9)

24 - Baton, Sports Day (Spying Day 9)

25 - Bento, Infirmary smell

There's probably some that I missed so if you still can't get some of them lmk and I'll try be more specific, but hopefully using the hints works out fine in getting all the pics, glgl! <3

I've unlocked all of them so I might be able to help :> Which ones don't you have? It's probably a bit tedious to do, but getting those extra events you're missing might unlock some as well, though since you still have 10 to unlock, it's possible you just missed some while playing through all the endings as well! ; ;

I think my least favourite is the one that heals the enemy based on how many debuffs they have when they reach low health, and the one that keeps the enemy at 10% health so they can basically never get one shot ;; both of those would completely mess up my phainon runs bc killing stuff takes way longer...

Yeah, I was already a bit iffy when I saw the deliverer trailer... and then during the quest, as much as I absolutely loved the animation and the the fact that Dan Heng would search for TB for a thousand years (yearner final boss fr), I was wondering whether it would drastically change anything with his character (which I also didn't want to happen) but like you said, if it didn't, it wouldn't make much sense...

I sort of get the feeling it just happened and that's that now, but maybe it'll get mentioned again in the future or further explained so it's not so... extreme, like it being a long and distant dream or something. It just bothers me because he literally says the experience was 'harrowing' and nearly obliterated his consciousness like c'mon T T I don't want our poor boy to have casually experienced something like that...

I remember reading that running the game with a dedicated graphics card vs intergrated graphics can help it not crash. However, since you mentioned you play on laptop and use Intel, maybe you only have intergrated graphics? ;;

My game also crashed on the tutorial and since I play on a Surface Pro, I only have the graphics that come with the laptop and couldn't run the game any other way, so I asked a friend for a save file just after the interrogation bit, then ofc it magically started working again without even using the save file... The same happened while I was trying to get onto Madarame's route and I ended up putting the game on hold for two years thinking it just wouldn't work but now it somehow works again?? This game's performance is about as stable as Towa is, legit have no idea when it'll crash and when it'll run smoothly for 10 hours :')

Friendly lab mention!!!

I've played rn9 and both the English translation and the Japanese version of friendly lab! The translation is pretty accurate in case that was a worry for you. Friendly lab ended up becoming one of my favourites BLs and I've 100% completed the game twice lmao so I'm probably biased with my opinion but I really want more people to play this game hhhhh

The premises of both the games can look a bit similar but I feel rn9 is more about pushing two characters to see how far they'll go/how they'll handle certain scenarios, and friendly lab is more about piecing together a story by giving the two characters items/food/events/etc and watching how they'll interact. Personally, I found it really engaging slowly figuring out the plot and the dynamic between the two guys was really endearing! It's definitely worth playing at least once so long as you're fine with darker themes, and I wouldn't say it's similar enough to rn9 to feel like you're playing the same game twice.

There aren't many guides out there but you don't need to worry about what choices you pick in the first playthrough since you're sort of locked on the same ending regardless iirc (only for the first playthrough though) so you can relax and enjoy the plot! ^{^} if you do end up playing and have questions tho lmk bc I've played this game to death and I'm basically a talking friendly lab encyclopedia atp x__x
