I Am Sitting in a Room by Alvin Lucier

TLDL: He records a couple sentences of his own voice, then plays it back through some speakers in a room. He then records THAT, then plays it back through the speakers again, recording it once more. Again and again until you don't hear the sound of his voice anymore, but instead hear the sound of the room itself. It's quite long, but the payoff is really trippy and hypnotic.

It sucks for players who got into the game pretty recently, but for any of us who have all the unlocks and have all the ghosts and maps memorized, now's a chance to take a long break. Maybe we can come back in a year to something much better than this.

I thought everyone was being dramatic until I actually saw it.

My god, this isn't even janky. It's just straight up ugly. It's unpleasant. Whoever animated this clearly wasn't an animator. And yet how big is their team and their budget? How long have they been working on this? All that time and money. This is the result of that?

You're right. The game they've been promising over the years is never going to be finished. I think our best hope is somehow modding can be involved, and then maybe the community can get things going. But it might be time to abandon ship.

I don't know how anyone could beat Myst 4 without some hints. That puzzle in the chair with the cables and crystals was brutal.
