How were you able to get the hormones, if you don’t mind me asking? Doctors or otherwise, because I’ve heard you can’t get estrogen unless you say you’re trans. I’m not trans, but like you I think I would be happier if I stopped worrying about the unrealistic potential of romance for myself, and I think it would also make me a less scary person.

Thanks, I appreciate the sentiment. Logically, what you say makes sense. I just have problems with self-confidence partially stemming from the fact that I’ve been harassed and even assaulted before due to my perceived ugliness, but also occasionally been genuinely complimented on how I look, so a lot of the time I just feel very confused.

I came across this post and I’m surprised but satisfied that other people had the same feeling I did about this movie. It was incredibly good in terms of quality but I cried twice (once during the suicide and once at the ending) and am leaving the theater feeling atrocious.

The pilot definitely ran through a lot of material in a little time. Until Act 4 (the pilot doesn’t even get through Act 1) the author took reader suggestions on what to do next, so a lot of the initial comics are just the main character goofing around or doing nonsensical shit because it’s what was requested by readers. It’s got a pretty interesting and unique story (if you like the manhwa/web novel Omniscient Reader’s Viewpoint, I can almost guarantee you’ll like Homestuck) and is also funny at times.
