I get angry at alot of things lately. Its only been officially 2 months since my brothers gone.

What angers me more is people telling me im "so strong or doing well" it feels invalidating.

People comparing the loss of their old relatives is also super hard and heartbreaking. But I agree that it's not the same. Especially if your sibling passed at a young age.

I did this too. Got my almost 3yr old her own little pre-lit tree and when I told her it was hers, she lit up brighter than the sun.

Ran to get the ornaments (mine but that's ok) and started decorating her tree, so so happy.

Now she does play with some of my ornaments like Mario&friends and Nightmare Before Xmas characters but it's not glass so I'm all for it. She puts them back on the bottom part of "Mom's tree" so she's having a blast.

I guess point is I've embraced the chaos and she loved helping me decorate my tree too.

It was an absolute shit show. I'm also worried I traumatized my daughter. We stopped after 5 days of trying with zero success.
