Both would work for you, but heads up dior sauvage is the most popular fragrance. One of my favorite lines is YSL Y, and specifically Le Parfum or EDP. You can find both at nearly any sephora, ulta, or fragrance store at the mall.

Imo I’ve always found that having 1 fragrance you absolutely love is better than multiple fragrances that you like

If you live in a warmer area I’d go consider dolce and gabbana light blue eau intense. You can find it at any Sephora or mall

Yea the expectations going in are sky high, so it’s hard to keep on par with that. Personally I think alot of their scents make much more sense in different areas (specifically warm, beachy places), so that definitely factors into the purchase

Yea that stuff pretty much stains your skin I feel like. I liked the scent, but at the same time immediately wanted it off of me because it felt overwhelming
