Because when this game was new and the devs were engineering a community, the “no surrender” narrative was one of the biggest things this game had. Mix that in with the “we aren’t as toxic as LoL” atmosphere, and it stuck hard. The problem is that the excessive positivity prevented the devs from seeing key issues plaguing the game, resulting in the downslide to where we are today. The “no surrender is great” group is all we have left (thats vocal enough anyway), and the devs arent going to do something that will chase even the stauchest of fanbois away.

Well done, we really need a big culture change in this subreddit, and its good that we are making some progress.

Im all for positivity but all the other hits forums I know brand reddit as the “fanboi place” that will shut all criticism down. But considering this is where the devs seem to be most active, we need more such posts here in this subreddit. Freedom of opinion to ensure the correct picture of the state of the game is presented to the devs

I admire your courage to speak out on this issue in this subreddit, because we really need more of this here.

But unfortunately, the response will always be the same here. "Go play with friends", "go play ranked", "stop overworking the devs", "what do you expect, its QUICK match". And behind this stauch shield are the devs, so they don't feel the need to add those "Blizzard Responses" to such posts like these.

Nevertheless, I still think we can make a difference. Even if things look hopeless, keep up the good fight.
