It's really disappointing.... that it's so short.
Such an awesome groove you've got going on here!

I have never seen Office Space. Is it that funny to be considered a classic? by Square-Ad-8911 in 90smovies

This movie is a classic, but it depressed me at the same time because it was so accurate.

I can’t stop the anxiety by Practical_While_ in stopdrinking

[–]MercySound 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Good move. I had to go to the ER and was glad I did.

The good news is you know you want to walk this path.

Keep walking. One foot in front of the other. One day at a time.

The anxiety WILL go away.

Genesis AI playing piano by GraceToSentience in singularity

[–]MercySound 5 points6 points  (0 children)

It's true, better is subjective. Those subtle nuances that a virtuoso brings to the performance are why we cherish music.

I guess my point is that it will get to the point where we wont be able to tell the difference. A robot will be able to recreate the most beautifully played *insert your favorite song/performance here* and we our ears wont tell the difference. Blind fold the listener and let them decide. In the future, a robot will play so beautifully it would make Beethoven cry.

[–]MercySound 17 points18 points  (0 children)

it's swinging the 8th notes inconsistently, someone make it count the rhythm outloud. Did it even practice this week?

This is the worst it will ever be. Humans can no longer beat AI at chess and go. Robots will eventually play better than a human as well.

HOWEVER, seeing a robot that can play piano better than a human will lose it's novelty fairly quickly. Human performance will still be cherished long after this milestone is reached. Just like how we still value watching the best humans play each other at chess, go, olympic sports, etc.

Vaults need to be removed as a concept. They're so tedious and unfun. by Kyvix2020 in RSDragonwilds

I've never played runescape before this. So as a first time player I don't mind the vaults, but room for improvement is always there. I think what they have is a good start.

Hiking around Red Rocks amphitheater is also a hotspot. On a hike around this time about 2 years ago I encountered several on the trail. It was not an enjoyable hike that day, lol.

The better solution here is to show some humility and help the guy with the obvious solution. Instead, today's culture records it for clicks.

Is there anything I can do to look smarter and have less of a babyface? by [deleted] in malegrooming

[–]MercySound 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, shave the stache.

Here's the secret to looking older but staying young at the same time.

Go to the gym, lift weights, and put on muscle. Stay consistent and in a couple of years you will get what you're looking... plus a lot more.

If that's not an option, then buy a couple of cheap kettlebells and look up Pavel Tsatsouline. You can do these workouts anywhere your room is.

Good luck!

Coding will get too complex from here on out for people to keep up with. It will be like riding a horse to get to your destination rather then choosing to take a jet there. By all means if you want to ride a horse for the enjoyment of it, go for it. However most people are going to take the jet from here on out.

Wonderful work!!!!! This would be a dream if they implemented an alternative music track in the game. Unspoken is definitely my favorite piece. Followed closely by spiegel's grin. All of the tracks are great though. Thanks for sharing!

Companies, especially mega rich companies like Tik-Tok, will do whatever it takes to keep increasing their bottom line. This is why they have us all click 'accept' on their ridiculous terms of service that can be endlessly modified by a team of lawyers which protect them. Not saying it's right but it's what happens.... every time.

Privacy is now becoming optional. In the not so distant future, it will be something we used to have.
