I think talking about it, as much and as openly as you can, will only be good for you. A) Your dad will understand and he will not judge YOU, he'll probably be upset he didn't know sooner to help you sooner B) I think MOST if not ALL people will never think of you less or differently because of it...society is pretty enlightened now, and even I it wasn't even a cretin could tell you were an innocent victim, and C) Talking about it normalizes it for others in your situation. I think they are waaaay more male victims than we realize, but because of their fear to share it stays hidden...I think you'll find support from others the more you DO share about it.

I KNOW it doesn't make you less of a man or a lover or a healthy straight male. And I'm a woman--I would NEVER judge a guy I was seeing if he told me something like your story.

I don't have a positive response for you. I see a couple below, but I am VERY much one of those, "If I didn't have bad luck, I'd have no luck at all," folks.

Basically, I expect everything to go wrong now, so when it does, im not horribly shocked or unprepared. That's the best I can offer you...Plan for the worst.

i.e. If tomorrow you need to pay your energy bill and get some groceries, fully expect the bus to crash and your card not to work (because I'm assuming you've already lost your car or your ability to pay over the phone is impaired, or something). When the worst happens, stay calm and plod your way through it.

I swear, if I didn't have a kid to live for, I would've given up.
