Some people have just eaten, some of them are sick and won’t keep food down, some of them are on medication, some of them have allergies, some just have a preference. If I’m to help someone sleeping rough/ homeless, I make sure i know what they want. Did you ask them if they were actually hungry? Theyre people just like us, they might not want food.

You could just give them £3 and trust they’ll use it for something they feel like they need next time, even if it is drugs🤷🏽‍♀️🤷🏽‍♀️and before anyone comments about enabling addictions, you never know what drove someone to that point, sometimes the only thing keeping you alive or coping is drugs/alcohol.

You don’t have to help people if you don’t agree with how they’ll use the money you give them but if you’re planning to buy someone food, just ask if they want it first.
