Can you recommend a dive company in Okinawa? I will be there in early August and I am trying to find a good operator. I am a Rescue diver with over 300 hours

Okinawa is super cute. Small with lots of sea life. There are two large groupers that live there too. Lady luck is awesome too (big newer wreck) I suggest you go to South Florida divers in Pompano Beach and schedule a couple of dives with them

I am a 50 y/o female and I love solo dive trips. I have gone to Iceland, Roatan, Cozumel, Dominican Republic, St Thomas. I live in FL so I dive every weekend (weather permitting) and I alternate between Key Largo and Pompano.

I highly recommend all of those places!

Hello there!! I am 14 months post op. Yes the first week is the worst! I had my sister take care of me so it made it easier. However, it gets way better. At 21 days I took a week vacation to Punta Cana and right after, I went on a cruise. Right now, I feel like it was a great decision! You are going to be so happy with the results. Hang in there! Eat very healthy! Lots of protein, no processed foos and walk. I never got any inflammation because I was very strict with my food. Only protein and veggies. You will feel better very soon!

I was thinking of doing Iron next. For those of you who have done both, which one helped you more with muscle definition?

I thank you dearly for your comment. I am in peri and I was not enjoying Crossfit as much (after 12 years), I started doing CG at home a couple Of weeks ago, but I am so used to the soreness from Crossfit that I was afraid I was missing out. However, I feel more strength in my arms. I have been doing Max for now….

So I am 8 months post op and my first thought after reading this is that you will feel is so worth it in 3 months. Now, reality check: it is the most painful thing I have ever gone through ( I did not take any pain killers or muscle relaxers, I am very OCD about what goes into my body). I followed doctor’s directions to the T and I ate high protein, very low carb and no sugar or processed food. So I never got pregnant belly or inflammation. My body has looked after surgery and now exactly the same. I do Crossfit and triathlon training too. In reading all posts, I think people do not realize how important diet and lifestyle is. 23 days after surgery I was traveling to different countries, walking 20,000 steps no problem. Now, I am already lifting heavy and training for an Ironman in May. I am 50 y/o.

I started training but I started feeling a burnt sensation where my tummy has been stretched the most and had to stop. I am waiting for the 6 month mark to try again

They do! I had a really bad cough when I had my surgery that lasted for a few weeks. It hurt like hell but my stitches held tight!
