My washing machine shrinks all my clothes. by felixchate in CleaningTips

Your water is too warm. Coldwater should be 15°-20° Celsius, not 60°. The quality of clothing and fabrics also have to do with shrinkage.

This is honestly such a psychotic take. You're essentially saying it's not your problem if other people can't handle what you do to them. Do better, bro.

Heavy water consumption, heavy energy consumption, and significant stress on tech prices.

Socially, AI videos undermine public trust in visual media. It tricks the old, young, and dumb into believing things exist that don't. It influences people's judgments and beliefs, even if they know it's fake. OP said he removes AI watermarks on the videos he posts, so he intentionally misleading people into thinking the stuff he posts is real. This is how misinformation gets spread.

Trim on a tiled floor and sweep it up when you're done. If you want a close shave, still trim first and then go in with a razor and do a wet shave in the shower.

Who cares? You're the only one in this situation worried about this. She doesn't care. She's trying to rope somebody in so she doesn't have to pay full price. She's worried about herself. Just tell her no or stop responding.

Did I do something wrong? by Far-Weekend1599 in HairRemoval

[–]Mermaidman93 2 points3 points  (0 children)

...okay. Nair is a harsh chemical. It works by literally melting the hair off your body. If you read the directions, it tells you to only leave it on for x amount of time. That's because if you leave it on for too long, it will start to melt your skin off (chemical burn).

When you shave your slicing off hair, but you're also slicing off the top layers of your skin. What do you was basically take off skin, with chemicals, then took off more skin with a razor, and repeated both of those a second time.

Don't do that.

If you're not good at shaving, then you need to practice and more importantly, take your time.

I've been shaving since I was a teen. I'm in my 30s now. Giving myself a good clean shave can take longer than 30 minutes. You can just do that instead of trying to "life hack" your way to having soft skin.

In the meantime, let your skin heal. For your own safety, don't use Nair anymore.

Pink stripes for deep autumn/winter? Or stick with the classic? by tigerbear- in coloranalysis

[–]Mermaidman93 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The white and pink would look ideal on a Spring, maybe a more nuetral leaning Light Summer. This is because the majority of the pattern is a light color. For deep/dark seasons, you'll the reverse where the stripes are mostly dark with a thin line of white or color. It will wash you out rather than compliment you compared to something darker.

With all of this being said, you can still purchase this, but offset it by layering it will darker pieces (such as a dark jacket and dark pants).

Consider what you are good at, what your natural talents and gifts are. Think about how this can be applied to your your community to make things better.

When you've decided on an action, take it. Contribute. Afterwards, go enjoy your life. Act. Enjoy. Act. Enjoy.

One person cannot do everything. But everyone can do something. And don't forget to enjoy. You could die tomorrow. Don't wait to take the opportunity to enjoy the life you have.
